I regret that after living very close to Goody's for many years , that I had not tried them 15 years ago when they first opened. This evening, my wife and I ordered a large Chicken Gyro sub and a large Steak sub and THEY WERE Absolutely INCREDIBLE !!! We've been to many other Gyro shops all over Hamilton & Toronto, but have never experienced such a clean, friendly place with such quality , fresh and generous portions . Both subs were delicious and we will definitely come back again!!!

Went to Goody's today. I had the Chicken dinner and my wife had the Beef/Lamb dinner. The food was excellent. Good portions, and great staff. Will certainly go back again. The excellent reviews certainly are a great reflection on this restaurant, and the staff.

Been going here for 4-5 years when visiting in Burlington, from Montreal. Hi to Billy and Charlie.... this is the most fantastic, Greek 'treat' that we look forward to each visit. So friendly, like a 'home coming' - and our likes and favourites are always remembered.... it is a pleasure not only to eat the great food, but just the personal touch added on each return visit... thanks again.... After looking for a good takeout spot near my office for lunch, I came across Goody's and decided to stop by to pickup a Beef Gyro Sub. As soon as I walked in the place was busy with regular clientele getting a takeout meal and the three people working there, I assume owner's new the people and were very friendly, efficient to serve.
This is by far the best Gyro sub, I have ever had. Huge size, giving you your money's worth and the bun was fresh and all ingredients and toppings were tasty!
Definitely going back to try other items or have this again.

Great place for a quick lunch. I had a meatball sub, double cheese and my husband had a beef pita. Bread was super fresh. They were very generous with sandwich fillings. Very tasty. Very fast. Reasonable pricing. Blue collar workers were lined up out the door.

Favorite local takeout. The guys are great. Schnitzel dinner is my favorite. Been going there since it opened. Support the Ma and Pa in your neighborhood.

Popped in to Goody’s for an early lunch. Decided that instead of having my usual sub, I’d trying something different. The bacon and chicken was amazing! Love the Tatziki sauce and the chicken had a slight crispness on the edges from the grille. Fantastic!

Took a couple of work buddies here for Lunch (both from out of town). They Both loved the Sandwiches! Clean, Quick & Nice people behind the Counter. We All hope to visit again when in neighborhood! Thx...Cheers!!

My husband is a regular at this restaurant. He raves about their food and service. I finally went with him one day and I was impressed with it all. The staff were super friendly and the food was so fresh and tasteful.
Busy place. Will definitely return.

I love this place and will also go here! The chicken dinner is amazing. Subs are also really good as well. The guys that work ( and I think own) are amazing guys and make will feel like family!

Can you imagine a ‘fast food’ restaurant putting your roast beef on the grille to cool it while preparing your sub sandwich? Out of this world delicious! Not the cheapest, but in this case, worth every penny!

Tucked in between a barber shop and a bar, Goody's is a bit of a surprise. Great sandwich selections with lots of toppings to choose from. There is room to sit as well though it's limited.
If anyone is familiar with a Subway then you will be at home with Goody's. The difference is they mix in some Greek and Mediterranean meats with their sandwich options.
I ordered a chicken pita and a buffalo chicken sub for takeout for my wife and I. Cost was the same as a footlong from Subway but portions were much larger. The bread was fresh baked and the chicken was exceptional. Every few bites you would get a crispy bite of chicken which was a pleasant surprise.
The only downside is that the place is starting to look a little run down and due for a refresh. The sign outside was broken and the dining area inside looks a little dark and tired.
All in all, I'm looking forward to going again and Goody's is a great stop for a great sandwich.

I did not expect this. We stopped for a pita and planned on eating in the car on the way to the next shopping stop. The server I had was excellent. He could see I wasn’t a regular and was struggling with the menu. He handled me perfectly. Made suggestions as to how some people like their sandwiches, without being over bearing. He was so friendly I convinced my wife to eat in. A few minutes into the meal, a wonderful surprise. He had cooked extra potatoes and brought us a little side dish. I go on about the service but the food was equal to the task. Good luck guys. I wish you nothing but success!

Popped in for a Large Italian sub. Nice fresh bun and toppings. I hesitated when he offered Mustard, Mayo or Sub Sauce as I don’t like the mustard some restaurants use. Sure enough, they use the one I don’t like. French’s Mustard is quite different. Nevertheless, it was my choice, but a failure on their part. Great lunch otherwise! Will be back again soon!
