I tried the beyond meat burger when it first came out at a ridiculous price but thought it was excellent. I only tried it again now - twice in the past week - because it is on sale for $3.99. It is delicious but ‘beyond’ an acceptable price if not on sale. The service at this particular A&W was great. When I ordered without a bun, they immediately asked if I wanted it in a lettuce bun (wrap)! No other place has done that...fast food or restaurant and I order without a bun every time. The fries were also very good and the root beer...well, it’s A & W!
It was delicious and as long as it is on ‘sale’ I will continue to enjoy it. Otherwise I believe the price is too high for a burger of any kind in a fast food place.
I would not consider this ‘cheap eats.’

Just had a Beyond Meat burger here. Honestly the best burger I have ever had in my life whether it be meat, vegetarian or vegan. Thanks for bringing it to Canada! Adding this to your menu has just made you our families go-to burger place.

The chicken fingers are really good , but every time I buy them I feel like I'm over paying - $8 or $9 for 5 fingers is too much, so we don't go here as often as my son would like!

This review is actually for the A & W at Walker's Line & Upper Middle near our home. I regularly drop in for a snack when I've had a late breakfast and need to tide over to dinner, though I have at times gone in for a full fresh made breakfast or a lunch with my grandson. Nevertheless, most visits are for a chipotle chicken wrap or a Buddy Burger. Both are tasty, the staff are friendly and responsive and the food is nice and hot and fresh. The sweet potato fries with the chipotle mayo dip is also a great option and very tasty, comparable to some up-scale restaurants in the area I've had them at.

The burgers here are so different than in the US. There is some sort of seasoning used on the burgers in Canada that didn't make it to the US. Hence I don't do A & W south of the border but when i Canada I make a special trip to do so.

Well it's A & W and they have quite a history. Started in 1956 here in Canada where they were a drive in fast food restaurant. They started in the US in 1919 as a root beer stand and grew from there. The A&W root bear mascot was started in Canada and later adopted by the US company. The Canadian A&W is a separate company from the US and international branch. Google the history for more interesting facts.
The uncle burger is my favorite, very tasty and juicy and the fries are better than most fast food outlets although not as good as fresh cut IMHO. The root beer in a frosted mug is the best I have ever had and I rarely drink a root beer any other place as it's always a disappointment compared to an A&W.
This location is in the Burlington mall and is fine although I prefer the newer stand alone retro style restaurants.

Our daughter told us about the chicken fingers at A&W and we have enjoyed them ever since. I don't know if it's the BBQ sauce or the chicken but the combination of the two is very good. We will go to this location when getting a quick lunch at the Burlington Mall.

Love their burgers and sweet potato fries. Kids enjoyed their burgers, fries and onion rings. The counter staff were very pleasant and the order came quickly. And, of course, there's nothing to compare with their frosted mugs of old fashioned root beer. This is now our favorite burger place!

If you like to eat burgers and want them organic and not spend too much then you must go to A & W's. A once diner joint that I used to avoid like the plague now I am going back to this place happily as they are using organic meats.

Real meat with no chemicals all natural meat. Great flavor good size patty just the bun is smaller. I recommend A&W for a great lunch or just a snack while shopping

Conveniently located in the food court of Burlington Mall however location has moved sites from previous visit.
Clean, fast, friendly service and standard fare for a burger and fries.
Burgers made to order (requests accepted) for no onions, double mustard, etc...

As always a decent menu selection, served quickly and consistently good quality.
Located in the mall with many other fast food choices but still one of the better places for a fresh burger.
Many burger options (mama burger, papa burger, teen burger etc...) and sides available and with consistent friendly service.
