Fun time... But only if you're young lol

Well, it's been a few years, but the times I did go to Club 54 I had a great time - we all had a great time! A typical evening begins with a stand up comedian for about an hour. Then it's party time when the dance floor comes alive (and the cage). We danced for a couple of hours before packing it in round midnight as the music had gotten louder and unrecognizable. Your cover charge entitles you to a free pizza & I think there were wings as well. Drinks are pretty expensive but that's why I only go there once in a blue moon. Cheers!

My party at CLUB 54

Hi Gene, I was there last Sat Jan 21st with over 40 friends, we had a FUN evening. Thank you for the free entry, comedy show, pizza & wings, it was a party atmosphere, we also danced in the Salsa room, it was a FANTASTIC evening! Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks Gene

Our FAVOURITE go to “CLUB 54” Geese I have a lot to say, importantly it’s with honesty after countless visits here, I thought a review was well deserved. Always a great night, fabulous music, the best atmosphere with a variety of age groups making EVERYONE feel welcome. We visit weekly for our dance night out, including dancing on the large outdoor patio. We meet new people who are having a great time dancing and re-connect with wonderful friendly repeat guests who have become our friends at the club. You feel a sense of belonging not intimidation. Just a great atmosphere and energy. 54 is welcoming from the minute you arrive, no unreasonable wait times there or at the bar for a drink. Gene the owner is wonderful to reply to emails without delay for reservations or any inquiries you may have. A great place for a fun filled special occasion too. He is exceptionally accommodating and you can see him frequently engaging with guests. Special recognition to the fabulous security team. Ziggy, 100% dedication, a gentleman with the most beautiful soul you can’t help but luv, Ace, always on the watch promoting a great atmosphere, Tyler always smiling with some great dance moves that he sneaks in too while passing you by on his rounds(who also by the way bbq’s a killer sausage on a bun/pita at closing time for hungry guests) Our Servers Melinda, Dina and Laura are so friendly and on point, the nicest you will ever experience! We look so forward to every weekend there! Check it out it won’t disappoint :)

Outdated, dirty and overpriced drinks

My husband and I visited Club 54 in August 2019. After reading all the "excellent" reviews, we thought we'd give it a try. I wonder who would be writing those reviews...hmmm? Wow....the place was so dirty and it felt like a club from 1980, which has not been renovated once since then. The drinks were overpriced at $9.25 and a bottle of water was $8 (they don't give you tap water). The crowd was 54+, which is perhaps where it get's its name.

Avoid the Comedy Show scam

My cousin and 25 friends attended the VIP comedy show on Feb 1st. She won this free event that included wings and pizza at 11pm; however, the show was absolutely terrible and the drink prices were outrageous. The doorman, Ace, is sleazy and thinks he is something very special. Only plus was our waitress and bartender were nice and the music after the disturbing comedy show was good. Avoid the scam a visit a reputable comedy club or any other bar in Burlington.

All around amazing experience

I had an amazing experience with my group of friends we enjoyed a great comedy show and the comedian involved us in the jokes which was fun! The music was great I danced in the cage met the DJ, they have great drinks and amazing staff! We had a bit of an altercation and they didn’t say a word to us they just removed the person who CREATED the problem. Thank god for there understanding as were able to continued to party. One friend dropped her drink by accident right after it was poured and the waiter just poured another drink on the house. All around a great place.

Amazing music and atmosphere

If you're going to go to any club then make this the one that you go to. The bartenders and staff are amazing. The music is incredible and I can't stop recommending this place to everyone I know that likes to hit the floor dancing.

Shared some laughs, drinks and great food at an amazing place!! Club 54 is a welcoming place with awesome staff who work hard to make sure your time spent there is of the highest quality. I'm definitely a return customer!!

My friend suggested coming to this club as she wanted to dance and was conveniently close to her place. This club was not what I was expecting, in the best way possible. Although it is meant for a older crowd, my friends and i had a blast. The music bumping and it gets you grooving.

I've always had a blast here! The DJ is always blasting the best tunes, the separate rooms for Top 40/Pop and Latin/Reggae are always bumping and the big outdoor patio is a great space to grab some air and meet people. I've been for comedy nights and just for dancing and both are extremely entertaining; only thing I suggest is arriving early so you get a seat!

Club 54 is an amazing club and a lot of fun. Great music, fun and dancing! The club is always clean and the staff is great! Special shout out to Irene who is a server and is always really courteous, nice and keeps my glass full!. I highly recommend this club for a great night out.

Only went for one night; however, I had a great time!. Staff was super respectful and skilled at their positions. Music was fun, and the drinks were a responsible price. Will hopefully go again sometime in the future!

My company and I came here for a work party courtesy of owner Gene. We won a free $500 value party. We had a blast, comedy had us all roaring, great pizza and wings and the dance party afterwords was great! really, really reasonably priced drinks, probably one of the cheapest places for good drinks. We are now regulars!

Such a huge disappointment!

This was our first time at the venue. For my wife and myself, the sheer number of rapidly flashing lights literally coming at you and your guests from EVERYWHERE and CONSTANTLY was enough to turn both our stomachs slightly, and though we stayed and enjoyed the comedy routine (especially the EMCEE) because the lights let up briefly, we simply had had enough of the lights when they promptly resumed. This is not just a light overhead or one or two here and there as we used to see at discos. These lights come at you from EVERY possible direction, are situated up top, on the sides, and you name it! Even if you do not get a headache as one person we spoke to said he got from the endless lights, it is distracting and unpleasant. It was also so noisy that we had difficulty chatting with friends over the incessant noise. We stayed for about 1.5 hours and decided we had had enough. Additionally, the parking is atrocious. We got a spot on the side as we arrived before the lot filled up, but then, the cars all park in one line right across from those parked properly making it a heck of a challenge to maneuver one's way out of the assigned spots without striking those cars improperly parked in front of you the length of the assigned spots area. The fact a tiny plastic cup of ginger ale costs $6.00, and drinks at least $16.00, we could handle that, but overall, we could NEVER return to this venue OR recommend it to ANY of our friends. It's too bad, but this place is in dire need of a make-over and a MAJOR reduction of the silly, oh-so-passe flashing lights which riddle the place. We will stick to places which permit one to enjoy the entertainment, have a drink, chat a bit with friends, and actually even relax a little. Club 54 does not allow for ANY of these other than for the overpriced drinks.
