A nice and authentic Thai cuisine restaurant

We visited this Siam Dish Thai Cuisine restaurant for a family Sunday lunch. We ordered 2 appetizers and 4 different dishes from a wide selection menu. All meals turned out to be quite enjoyable. Our 4 person + toddler party found this restaurant to be very clean, pleasant and welcoming place. Prices were reasonable and a server was attentive and helpful.

What a wonderful experience!! The food was amazing and also the service! I must say that I ordered a red wine that was corked and vinegary but the lady who served us was so kind to change it for me and open a new bottle!! Without being annoyed like in most restaurants. Your staff is very professional and kind. Every time I am in Burlington I make a point to go and eat at your restaurant. I am going back again this Saturday May 13 and I am looking forward to go. Again thank you

Delivery during Covid

My wife and had delivery today from the Siam Dish. We had shrimp pad thai, pineapple curry beef and spring rolls. The food delivered within 45 minutes. Everything was perfect. And enough left over for our lunch tomorrow. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Doing a great job in these difficult times.

WORST THAI FOOD EVER

I never write a review, ever, but I feel compelled to save anyone thinking about Thai food to avoid this place at all costs! If it was possible to give this place 0 I would. I’ve lived in Thailand for many years so I know Thai food, this is anything but! In fact you would be better off at a Chinese mall fast food spot. The taste of the food was bland, nothing was spiced, non of the Thai tastes one would expect. The quality of the food was just as bad. The service was rude and unknowledgeable of the food either in English or Thai! I will never go back and I would urge anyone seeking Thai food to seek another place. Terry E

Curry was good, Pad Thai...very bland

Ordered takeout. Red beef curry was great, good spice, decent size serving. Spring rolls were good. Pad Thai was mediocre. Says a lot that my kids (who LOVE Pad Thai) barely touched theirs. Tasted like it was ketchup based...very bland. There was a lot of it, but quantity doesn't make up for taste.

BEWARE of overly spiced food!!!

SIAM DISH THAI CUISINE (Burlington, Ontario) Second visit, this time for takeout of overly spiced Beef Salad (Yum) consisting of a soggy lettuce leaf (the "salad"?) and narrow, thinly cut strips of beef mixed with thin pieces of red onion, red pepper, and green onion. The meat was saturated in Chilli flakes, hot spices, and lime juice to the point that 1. I couldn't taste anything other than Chilli flakes, and 2. eating just one tiny piece of beef burned my lips, throat, and tongue. I did return the food to get my money back, but it was a real PITA to do so. Although I have enjoyed many Thai dishes without incident at other trad-Thai establishments, this was definitely NOT one of them. BEWARE of the spice levels!!! The server did not mention them at the time.e of taking my order.

Great food

Visited this restaurant as we were staying at a Hotel close by. Boy, were we surprised by the quality and quantity of the food - it was great Worth a visit to enjoy good food.

Tasteless Thai Food

All the dishes were overcooked and dried up. The fresh rolls had no taste. I ordered it mild and it was brutally spicy to hide the taste of the overcooked food.

Could not get delivery to an address less than 10kms away

MSG overuse!

We were there last night and came in very hungry. I ordered the shrimp crisps and the pad thai. I really enjoyed the food but 15 minutes later started to suffer from the high usage of the MSG in the food, my tongue is burned and my mouth is very dry. Typical symptoms of the high usage of this nasty flavour enhancer. This is a cheap way to make a 'delicious' food. What happened to cooking wholesome lovely Thai food? Or is it just about making a quick buck these days!?

Love this place....eat here often! The chef prepares your meal to the level of spice that your taste want!! I do a 4 pepper green curry that takes me back to Chiang Mai! Excellent place to bring family and friends!!!

Great Authentic Food

Best lunch ever

I went with my family to have lunch. Foods were extremely tasty. We ordered fried rice and pad pan thai. Dont forget to try their Indian tea. All were sooooo gooodddd..The place was neat and clean. Decorations were nice. Customer service were great. We enjoyed lunch. All together this place is highly recommended

Nothing is forever!

A few years ago when it was on the lakeshore, we regularly walked down and always enjoyed food that reminded us of eating in Thailand. Now it has moved, ostensibly because of increased rent, and has lost some of its charm. But more important the food is somehow different, and not for the better. We asked the server who said there had been a recent change in ownership which likely accounts for an overall decline in our enjoyment. The price has increased but haven't they all? Still fair value but the food is what counts.
