Tucked away in an unpretentious plaza on quiet Glamis Road, who knew some of the best Italian home-made food could be found here? Recommended by neighbours as a good old-fashioned family run restaurant, my companion and I enjoyed a calamari starter, a generous and delicious...pasta dish each, a very lightly oiled and very fresh Caesar and couldn't have asked for better quality. The Tiramisu? To die for. We arrived a little early and so were glad we did. Server was just able to cover about 18 diners but fortunately none of us was in any kind of hurry although earlier one couple I guess didn't wish to wait so all of the rest of us raised our eyebrows on their departure. Awful attitude from servers asked what kind of red wine and she just glared at me and responded I don’t know whatever we have.. was charged 5$ for condiments used and the place was cold due to them leaving door open.

What a delightful place to have dinner! The red gingham tablecloths set the ambiance for a casual and no fuss but delicious meal. Wood burning pizza oven occupies one corner and turns out beautiful thin crust pizzas. Service was excellent. We started with two appetizers....Crispy calamari which was nicely cooked and tender. The grilled Caesar salad is a must have! Full leaves of Romaine brushed with EVO are perfectly charred, dressed with their homemade dressing then topped with house cured bacon and freshly grated Parmesan. Really a nice twist on a Caesar! The Seafood Linguine came with clams and an abundance of seafood in a tasty white wine tomato sauce. I had a new dish called Rosette di Parma all’Emiliana. This is a baked pasta that consists of layers of pasta topped with cured ham, fontina cheese, rolled, cut into rings, baked in cream and topped with meat sauce and freshly grated Parmesan. Another must try at this place. Yummy garlic toast accompanied both mains. Prices are very reasonable. I wish we lived closer, we would come more regularly.More

Amazing service. Our server was single handedly running all the tables so super impressive that service was prompt and attentive. Big portions of pasta and everything was super yummy at fair prices. Will definitely be back

Amici earned its reputation of being the best Italian in Cambridge. The pizza and pasta was fantastic and the grilled Caesar was the best I’ve had. Service was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

When I tell you to run, I mean RUN for some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. It’s a shame I didn’t get a picture of our appetizer because it really showcased how great the mains to follow were going to be! The...chef was so kind and humble when we complimented him for the amazing food! I could literally write a ten page review just on the sauce. it’s made in house and I honestly drooled! I ended up asking to take some home to eat my leftovers! The price is reasonable and affordable and our server was so sweet and kind! The tirimasu was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. It was moist and so rich! To be honest everything was rich in flavour and I Definitely recommend everyone gives it a try. I’ll be returning again with my family!More

This is our go to for Italian. Intimate atmosphere with the wood fired oven in the background. Amazing fresh made pastas and sauces and a pizza amici to start! Pared with a nice wine makes for a nice evening every time. The owners are friendly...and interactive with the clientelle. Will be visiting again soon. Havent even considered East Side Marios since i discovered this place.More

Pizza looked fabulous will try someday. Pasta dishes were good. Waitress really nice. Caesar salad needs some work. Very plain. Very relaxed atmosphere, no need to dress up. Service was a little slow but waitress was apologetic and very nice. Asked when booking reservation if...it was a special occasion and I told them it was my birthday. We went to amici’s last night for dinner with a group of 7. The staff were great, all were very friendly, even the chef came out at the end of the night and thanked us. All the dishes were excellent. Our table ordered a mix...of pizzas and pastas. The food arrived together in a timely manner, was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be making this restaurant a regular place for us.More

We had the best time at Amici. The food is great. The atmosphere is fabulous. The owner and his wife make you feel as if you are in there home having dinner. You are so relaxed. Everything is made fresh from scratch. The only place...we will ever have pasta. Thank you for a wonderful night.More

Always been to DiPietros and never noticed this restaurant until a friend mentioned it to me. Visited here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed the Cozze appetizer.. it was delicious with the fresh garlic bread.. my friend had the seafood...linguine and I the godfather pizza. Both very good!! Waitress was very friendly and attentive to our table.. yummy Italian food, will be returning.More
