Was told about this place, and thought, awesome, lets go…. Looked at the online menu/website, and it said to make reservations, so we did. Relatively no parking around, so leave some time Met at the front by someone clearly not wanting to be there, seemed...indifferent Already knowing what we going to order, we looked at the menu anyway Waiter friendly enough, and took out drink order, and food order. I ordered the burrito Nortena, which showed 0/5 on the spice scale, which not being able to no longer do spicy food worked in my favour. And a Corona Partner ordered Gringa Quesadilla, and a classic Margerita Over a 30 min wait for the food to arrive The Nortena, had spice to it, very little meat, mixed with a bean/rice mixture, and was overpowered by the tortilla wrapping Was NOT worth the 22 dollar charge, this was at best a 12 dollar burrito. Also throwing on several pieces of green leaves, with a couple of sliced onions drizzled with some sweet oily sauce, doesn’t elevate it to 22 dollars. Overall taste, 4 out of 10, overall portion, 6 out of 10 Partners’ quesadilla, 4 thin pie shaped slices, that at first bite tasted like you were biting into an apple pie, pineapple inside overpowered everything in the quesadilla, and again not much substance/meat Will have to give this a 4/5 for taste, and 6/10 for portion. So visualize this if you can: 2 plates, 1 with 1 burrito, 1 with 4 pie shape quesadilla’s, one with less than a quarter cup each of greens for 43 dollars. Add on the corona beer at over 7.75, and the margarita, that was served in a glass a bit bigger than a rock glass at 11.75 Total bill came in over 75.00 dollars, and using a newspaper 15 dollar off coupon, ended up out the door @ 68 and some odd change Place wasn’t busy, less than 10 people, we get that places are somewhat struggling, but trying to make up for it overcharging for mediocre food, and overpriced drinks ain’t the way to do it. You can find better mexican food elsewhere, at a more reasonable price point Save yourself the trip to quelphMore

Our server, Stephanie, was delightful and pointed us to the Polo and Brisket tacos which did not disappoint! Will definitely return for more of the same, great service and delish food.

Love the dia de los Muertos theme that greets patrons to this establishment reminding all that you’re here to eat Mexican/Latin American food fare. Water is promptly served moments after being seated, and the service is polite and professional. The Rorschach Mexican lager was delivered...nice and cold in splendid La Reina fluted glasses, and the food nice and hot on groovy Latin inspired plates. We ordered the delightfully tangy corn dip and tortilla chips as starters, the soft and crunchy cinnamon churros with dips for dessert. Enough as shareables for our party of 3. I ordered the lamb Burria (see attached photo) which was really great. Kinda’ like a Latin take on the French Beef Dip only with wonderful layers of great tastes of lamb, cilantro, onion, and cheese, finished off in a nice oniony bowl of beef broth dip. Really great, I’ll need to come back just for this dish.More

Visited for Mothers Day as most places were booked up. Surprisingly got a reservation at the last minute for 6pm. Arrived at 6 and would say the place was 60-70% full. Service was a little slow as it appeared that they were training new staff...as the wait staff was paired up. This was fine but we then got different pairs of wait staff showing up at our table with very long time periods between. Ordered our food … Guacamole appetizer came first and was good, just too little guac for the chips & pork rinds included. I ordered the fish tacos (around $14 if I remember correctly) and got two mini (literally 2bites) soft tacos. There was no sides of salsa, sour cream or anything else included. Same was true with my daughter and wife who also order tacos. My other daughter ordered Nachos and, again, no salsa or other sides served with it. They were pretty dry. I’d heard good things about this place but we were all dissatisfied and disappointed with our meals. Will not return.More

The portions are very tiny. When our meal was brought to us we thought we had made a mistake and ordered appetizers instead of entree. Very expensive for the serving size. The food was cold. The server was friendly. Took forever to get the check....This is the second time trying this restaurant and probably the last!More

Looking for an authentic Mexican fare…try Taco Bell. Service was friendly and relatively quick. The atmosphere was a pleasingly Mexican, but menu selections were limited. The Pork quesadillas were greasy and had a strange after taste. The portions and price were reasonable. I might give...them another try.More

The food was tasty but cold. The service was absolutely awful. We sat down & ordered drinks. My drink came, but my husband’s pint was waiting on a keg change. 20 minutes later later the pint showed up. They took our order of Nachos and...Green Mole Enchiladas when they brought the pint. Some tables were served, ate, left. There were several tables that waited & waited. it took an hour 15 minutes to get our food. No one had asked if we would like another drink. There was no cutlery when our food came & it was cold. Really tasty, but cold. It had obviously been sitting for a long time waiting for someone to bring it out, as all of the tables that had been waiting got their food at the same time. No one checked if the food was ok. About 15 minutes after we finished a waitress came by and apologized for forgetting our drinks. She realized that she had forgotten the drink order for table behind ours. We found out later that they usually serve food on one side of the patio & our area is drinks only. They had decided to open both for food. Maybe that had something to do with it. I’m sure that it is hard to train all new waitstaff quickly these days, but it might help if they actually had waitress/waiters taking care of tables instead of runners that don’t take orders. Cutlery on the tables would also help. So would taking drink orders. I see a lot of reviews saying that they had great service, so hopefully this was just growing pains/lack of training. I hate leaving a bad review, especially for a local business.More

Incompetent management, definitely won't be returning here. Too bad, I love Mexican food. I even called before visiting the restaurant. Dissapointed that staff and manager so ignorant to discriminate against someone with a medical mask exemption.

The appetizers (nachos, plantain, corn, pork rind etcetera) were very good, and my wife was pleased with the tacos. She gives a four star rating, but I write the review so I have the last word! Why three stars? My hurache was excessively salty and...the beef was not particularly tender; I had to mask the seasoning with the house hot sauce (which actually was quite flavorful). Usually, this would not ruin my dinner, but the determining factor which will not bring return business here was the creepy ambience. The numerous skulls, skeletons, and mock altar (!?!) are in bad taste. The owners may think this is clever marketing and genuine Mexican identity, but I found it to be unsettling and thus prevented me from enjoying my meal.More

I love a restaurant that cooks and this one does just that. Everything made in hose, even their chips. I mean if I wanted food prepared elsewhere and ordered in I could do that at home! Guacamole, chips 12 tacos for four people; two Margheritas...which were delist a beer and a pop for under $100. Great deal. My only query is there is a tip the kitchen a six pack option. That in itself if ok but I asked the waiter if I tipped the kitchen and not him does he get beer? Nope! If I him him and not the kitchen does the kitchen get tip out? Yup! So the potential for servers is that they take part as a team but lose out. That to me seems unfair. Other than that it was a great experienceMore

We were here for a birthday with a big group and we received amazing service. The food itself was fantastic, had the octopus tacos which were tender and flavorful and the taco pastor. Discovered taco pastor in Mexico and loved the dish, and I must...say they did a great job with their version. The pitchers of margaritas were a great touch. Later found out that our server was actually the owner and had a nice chat. Great job on this spot and wishing you all the success!More
