We ordered takeout, and the food was very good. Nothing spectacular, however. This restaurant is a Guelph staple.

Decided to order some gyros and Caesar salad while coming home from out of town. Placed order for pick up, they said 45 minutes, arrived in 40 minutes. Sat inside and waited another 35 minutes.....what’s frustrating is that if they were that far behind they...should have just indicated that on phone. Other Greek restaurants in town which I will be going to in future.More

All though the food at Greek Garden is evidently delicious, their poor service over powers the foods quality. I called in an order for pick up and the gentleman on the phone requested I arrive at 6:30 PM to pick up my order. Once I...arrived at 6:30 I was rudely greeted by a lady who said in a very aggressive tone "WHAT IS YOUR NAME?" I said my name and suddenly the entire team began to look flustered looking through order history clearly not finding my order. Then the lady began YELLING to her staff what we had ordered, again very flustered. Finally, after waiting until 7:00 PM patiently without showing any signs of frustration my name gets called. The lady does not look at me whatsoever and reads the total and hands me the machine. Once she rudely handed me my takeout bag again, without eye contact I noticed I had asked for extra Tzasiki and was no where to be found in the bag. I asked for an extra, and she rolled her eyes, walked over to the bin and tossed one onto the counter without saying anything. Along with this, once I got home I noticed my request for no tomatoes was clearly not listed as every food item had tomatoes. All though I enjoy the food, their service is disgusting and I will never be coming to Greek Garden again.More

One of our favourites in Guelph. Food prep is very authentic, always delicious, abundant and reasonably priced. They have a seafood platter which is my go to and is excellent in every respect. The service is always prompt and efficient, with a demeanour that can...be mistaken for nonchalant, but is really just a seasoned pro on top of her game. Accurate and obliging in every detail. Ambiance is very satisfactory with background noise levels conducive to cross-table conversation. Happily recommended, though parking is awkward.More

This place has been serving really good food for a lot of years, chicken souvlakia dinner is one of my favorites. Good service, good flavor, dinner served in a timely fashion, in and out in a great time frame. Good night out!!

For us from Burlington, it's an hour trip to go to Guelph's Greek Garden ! It is worth is every time we decide on that drive, few times a year... We enjoy the scenic drive up through the back roads. The restaurant has a seating...area at grade level, few steps up, a much larger area with a fireplace and, summer-weather arriving, a large outdoor patio. Inside the restaurant, the ambiance, the music, all great, almost like a real roof-top Taverna in Plaka, Athens...!. For starter, we shared a very good & moist Taramasalata with hot pita, great starter. For the main my wife had the Giant grilled BBQ shrimps, with the typical rice, potatoes & vegetables. I had the Angus New York steak, not really Greek however, I was hungry for a "big" lunch. Food was "top" and the service was very friendly. Share a bottle of Retsina and all is perfect. A great day !!!More
