We went to this restaurant because it was featured on "You Gotta Eat Here". The show was 100% right. The place does not have newer fixtures, and every seat is different, each table is unique, but it works. You feel like you at your grandmas, about to have the best meal in your life. I have had hundreds of Caesar... More

This place is the reason why my friends and I will drive from Toronto to have lunch or dinner. Love everything about this place where they home make everything from scratch. There is approx 10 tables and two outdoors in the summer months. Nothing matches, not the tables, chairs or plates which is part of the charm. We have ordered... More

The Harbour Diner is a cozy, retro style eatery on James St., about a km up from the Hamilton Harbour. We had intended to try different restaurants in the area but once we tried the Harbour diner there was no point in meeting anywhere else. The interesting variety of dishes, comfort food and the specials offer such great variety we... More

This is one of the Classic Go To Places in Hamilton and it normally is quite crowded. I was shocked on the day we arrived to find it mostly empty. I've been here before for breakfast and felt that it was okay, but not my go to breakfast place. Once again I had a good breakfast and they were able... More

We hadn't visited the Harbour Diner in a few years and were glad that we returned! We started off with the warm shrimp cocktail that had great flavour. I might suggest larger shrimp, such as the size found in a typical shrimp cocktail and putting the sauce on the side. For our mains, we order the spinach salad special with... More

I heard about this restaurant from TV show "You gotta eat here" and when I was in Hamilton I made sure I stopped here for lunch and I was not disappointed. The ambiance is fun and has a classic family run diner feel. Nothing matches and it adds to the character of the diner. The staff are extremely nice and... More
