Attentive service but VERY noisy, this is not an intimate dining experience, sound baffles would help. My wife had the caesar salad and seafood pasta, both quite good. I had calamari appetizer and spaghetti carbonara main, both only ok.

Lovely room, delicious food, friendly service. Interesting takes on the classics. Reasonable wine prices. I really enjoyed my dinner and I will be back!

Went for dinner last evening. I had the calamari…..it was so salty. I thought maybe poured the whole container of salt on breading. If there had been less salt I would have loved it. Husband had the Caesar salad…..it was fantastic. Main course was a...pizza. It was good…but I have had better.More

We had a wonderful meal at Claudio's . The arancini and caprese salad were plentiful and delicious. The fish on parchment and mushroom pasta were very tasty and the service was warm and friendly

We try to visit every couple of months or so because the food and service is always OUTSTANDING. We visited this time with another couple and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Started with caprese salad and some of the best garlic bread I've ever...had. I tried the special pasta dish with ricotta ravioli, chicken, in a light thyme cream sauce. Heavenly. My partner enjoyed his tenderloin. Christine is a truly gifted chef and everyone is so personable and professional. Great wine choices. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Lovely room as well.More

We were at Claudio’s Ristorante for our first visit on Saturday May 6 2019 and it was wonderful. The venue is small and elegant. The food is very tasty ( all homemade), large portions and the service was terrific. Thank goodness there was a function...going on upstairs. This gave us more time to digest our food in between courses! We would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back soon! Thank you Claudio and to your staff for a memorable evening.More

This was our first time to Claudio’s and we were not disappointed. We went to celebrate Hubble/Dad/PopPop’s birthday. From beginning to end the service was outstanding. Our two grandbabies were at dinner as well and were acknowledged and made to feel like princesses. The food...was superb , flavourful , hot and served in a timely fashion. I would have no trouble recommending Claudio’s to others and can’t wait to return. Thanks you for the great service !More

A busy preChristmas evening, but wonderful food and excellent service. We shared a wonderful calamari appetizer, followed by a delicious pasta special wth generous pieces of lobster, and Veal Henry which was equally good. For desserts, tiramisu, and lemon sorbet served in a hollowed out...lemon provided a fitting end to a superb meal. Wine by the glass was pricey, but very good, and better value than highly priced bottles. The staff were professional and friendly, and chef Kristine visited all the tables, and hugged us when we expressed our appreciation. We would definitely go again to celebrate a special occasion.More

We recently had a night out with friends and decided to try this restaurant. It was initially a bit intimidating due to the formal atmosphere and high prices but the food was good. The chef kept coming and checking on us, which was again a...formal, but nice gesture. The Caesar Salad was most unusual (see photo) but was very tasty. We loved the bruschetta which was done with cherry tomatoes. It was a nice night out, even with the high bill.More

I retired when I was 27...... blonde waitress tried to pronounce Italian words but came...out horribly..... had to ask for bread as everyone else at other tables had....never really had a great felling after that was left alone while other tables were being baby sat even by owner......More

An authentic Italian restaurant in the middle of Hamilton. With food so good you would swear it’s straight out of Tuscany. Great red wine, calamari grilled and mussels with a sauce one could only dream of. The service and humour from Claudio himself completes the...entire experience . Try the grilled Cesar and the best mussels I’ve ever eaten in my entire life....world wide. Must try. Well worth it!!!More

My husband and I had an amazing dinner at Claudio’s! The owner, Claudio was our waiter and he was fabulous! Suggested a delicious appetizer, main courses were delicious, and although we tend to not eat dessert... we couldn’t help ourselves and they were so tasty!!....Service was amazing, atmosphere was perfect, food was delicious. Maybe Claudio will venture to Nova Scotia at some point to open a restaurant... we would be his best customers!!!More

Ate here on a Friday night. Perhaps we had a bad night as they've been around forever. Food was disappointing and frankly, overpriced. Would not recommend it to others.
