My wife and I were joined by my son before our trips this week for drinks and a light meal. this is an old established downtown pub that I had been intending to experience for many years. It has an old country pub atmosphere that serves traditional pub fare. Service was fast, draft beer was cold and the food tasty.... More

We met here with my husband's family members (10 of us) for lunch on Dec 23rd. Both the food and service were excellent. Everyone was very pleased with their food when it was served. I like to try anything different on a menu so ordered the grilled cheese sandwich (triple brie & tomato jam) and it was excellent. We have... More

Service was fast & the food was good. My friend and I had fish & chips & it appeared that a lot of other patrons had the same idea. Menu had a lot of choices as well as some interesting desserts. The noise level & decor reminded me of a pub - a great place for a quick bite and... More

The first time I went here was a about a year and a half ago. I ordered a beer and an appetizer, shrimp I think. I was pleased. I thought this would be a good place to come with my boyfriend if we were in town together. I'm glad now we never went. My second time was for a quick... More

Myself and friends were recommend ed to eat here by locals working in the golf course. We were after a long walk and wanted something substantial and hearty. Simple decor inside, friendly waiting staff, extensive pub menu and excellent recommendation of the fish and chips by staff. The waitress said that they were renowned for it and I can see... More

Not too many people like liver and onions and even fewer places make it well. However I was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to The Pheasant Plucker, the liver and onions was fantastic. Not sure how many people know but Tuesday night is Pub Fare night, a select part of their menu is on for $10.00, I thought at... More

I came here with a friend in the evening and sat on the patio. The patio was small, but it sufficed. We planned on going to another establishment, but it was too busy. This place was on the same street and had patio seating available. We did drinks which were good and ordered a sharing platter. The platter was a... More

I have had fish tacos all over the world and these were my favourite of all- lightly battered fresh fish dusting of spice and served with fresh avocado.

This is a rather small place with some seating outside. Had come here a couple of weeks ago and it was too full. Tonight, on a Thursday evening it was much better and found a seat right away. My wife had the Reuben with salad. She agrees with other reviews on this site that it's very good. I had a... More

After reading so many positive reviews, I must say I'm disappointed with the food at The Pheasant Plucker. Nachos were a good size but cold and soggy in spots. Wings were good but if you can't make good wings, really what kind of pub are you? Beef deep decent but not stellar. At least they had horse radish. Fries were... More
