I had the land sandwich. It came with lettuce, lamb, red onions, and lamb sauce with extra crunchy homemade kettle chips. There were 4 of us and all loved it. Later another cpl came in that had referred us for their 2nd time. It was...clean. Our waiter was great. The interior was pretty neat also.More

The place and people looked hippie to me and I mean to say that in neutral and positive tone, visibly promoting healthy diet and natural products. This was my first visit and I rarely eat in Kingston, it was one of the few restaurants open...on Sunday on Princess in its area and I wanted to avoid commercial food that day with a focus on something genuine. I was pleased to get precisely that and more. Service was very pleasant and attentive, I was recommended a specialty drink (chai) which I took. I never drink that but I liked it all right. I was also recommended a soup of the day but I settled for a half salad (seeds and cheese I think) followed by surprising date squares made with spelt instead of conventional oats. I knew nothing about the place going in. This was a pleasant surprise and I recommend it to locals. Should I need a lunch again in Kingston, odds are good that I will come back.More

It was a light, lovely place. The staff were so unified by love and the food was wonderful. I especially like the yellow submarine sandwich. The murals on the walls and the indie music playing in the background made it a great place not only...visibly but also it was like a gateway to another planet.More

This was a google map find that didn’t disappoint. We had sandwiches and a dessert. Both were extremely good and very flavorful. If we were staying longer in town, we would be regulars.

Used to go there and eat and several times watched the host purposely not serve this one customer in time- over and over- this man had a serious condition, and would go into a catatonic state if he did bit eat in time. On top...of it volunteered there frequently. The Yellow Deli gets a rep in whichever City it springs up- yet somehow is rather unknown, never a big name. I know, just from eating in their restaurants that they are hateful towards the mentally ill. This has been my own personal experience. Bleh! T' h*** with your samwiches!!! There are lots of interesting websites I found about them- there are lots!!More

The restaurant run by the 12 Tribes has great fresh food at a reasonable price & friendly servers. However, aside from the financial aspects (no one there gets paid so VERY profitable) the restaurant is there to find lost souls to join them. You have...to give up EVERYTHING including family, work how, when and where they say with 1 day off/weekly and be indoctrinated into an early Jewish faith. SO - enjoy the food but watch out for the KoolaidMore

We found this place just across from the rented condo we were staying at when we noticed a sign out front. We arrived just after 7am for breakfast and Peter was happy to invite us in and tell us about the restaurant. The food is...amazing. Everything is homemade. The chef came out to greet us as well. She was lovely. The homemade chai is a must. They also have a bakery around the side of the building which we purchased the homemade bread and soups to go. A very unique style inside and a fun, quiet place offered to all who arrive. I will definitely make this a breakfast or lunch destination during my next trip to Kingston.More

Been here before. I always get the smoked meat and this time my wife tried the salad. We added soup. Both were very filling even tho they appeared like small portions.

Loved the cozy relaxing atmosphere, superfresh food (had amazing soup and Reuben) and great personable service. Amazing little family run restaurant I will surely visit again when in Kingston. So refreshing compared to off the shelf restaurant chains!
