This café is a little off of downtown Kingston, but what a find, the lovely old stone building, interesting cappuccinos and lattes, lovely sweets, out of this world chocolate croissant's, and some interesting groceries, meat, cheese, some premade meals. Just an interesting place. Wish it had more seating. As interesting as the groceries are I would probably take those out... More

I regularly travel to Kingston for work for 1-3 weeks at a time. When I get tired of eating in restaurants, I get a take-and-bake meal from The Common Market. They are excellent and have options such as Butter Chicken with Basmati rice, Chicken Parmesan, Fillet of Sole, Chicken Pot pie.... The meals are made with fresh ingredients and most... More

Today we ordered piping hot Latte's and Hot Chocolate, made with lactose free milk. Picked up a package of delicious biscotti. They are made locally and always fresh. The scones, cookies and other treats looked wonderful. Nice deli selection of cheese, sausage,(local), frozen meals, and a selection of sandwiches. Pleasant, accommodating staff and always enjoy this Cafe. Sometimes, there are... More

This is not the best coffee in the city (as they state), mainly because of the way it's made. If you want milk that is scalding hot and burnt tasting poured into your espresso, then come here. I had to wait 15 minutes before I could drink it. You really need to have baristas who know what they're doing when... More

Charming atmosphere with a few tables to drink your coffee, read a paper or flip open your laptop...coffee is fresh as are the selections of homemade sandwiches on baguettes, scones or other selected tasty baked goods. Staff are friendly and greet you with a warm smile.

This little market is a minute's walk from Kingston's Marriott Water's Edge Hotel and we were hoping to pick up a few things for our little suite. By early afternoon the shelves were almost bare of bakery items and there was no fresh produce. There are lots of very expensive frozen items for sale. Property is dark and crowded with... More
