This restaurant takes grilled cheese to a new level. On the day I showed up at this small and almost overlooked little denizen of Kingston's Princess street, the Maple Melt was pointed out to us and its aged cheddar, apples and serano ham with maple syrup was too much to resist. Coupled with a belly busting waffle fries poutine, I... More

Have seen before but never tried. Walked In by chance and so happy I did. Service was excellent, food was excellent and the experience was excellent. I strongly suggest you try.

We tried MLT DWN on Boxing Day. While the food was tasty, the portions were very small and it was incredibly expensive. My wife and kids each had the basic 4-cheese sandwiches, each of us added in either herb chicken or pulled pork, we got 1 order of fries to share, and 2 cokes (the kids both got glasses of... More

Went here for lunch before a meeting. I thought it would be easy and fast. I waited in line for 12 minutes and wasn't even acknowledged by any staff. One other person waiting on their order told me she had been there for 35 minutes waiting and that i shouldn't bother. I left and won't be back.

Pretty good if you pick the right sandwich. With all the weird toppings it's hard to determine what you would like best. Can be quite the tasty treat though. The Cross cut fries are good too. In the end you could make anything they serve here at home though with a little initiative.

At the end of the day, grilled cheese is grilled cheese. While I enjoyed mine and the different toppings on it, I don't think it was worth $11+. Still, it's tasty comfort food.

We stopped into the Mlt Dwn on our way back from our Montreal trip because I love that show You got to eat here and the host John Catucci. I have to say the food was ok, kind of expensive for what you get. But the one thing my family and I noticed was how dirty and untidy it was.... More

I swung by for lunch to grab some take-out. Wound up waiting twenty minutes for my food (My lunch break is a half hour), but the staff were apologetic. Food was delicious, but would not go again on a limited time window without phoning ahead.

We visited it tonight for dessert only. I wished we had went for dinner now to be able to review the full experience. I will do that later on and review the dinner side of it! What was a little shocking, we couldn't order coffee but we could order beer! So as in Rome... We ordered the Raspberry Cheesecake and... More
