Such a warm wonderful atmosphere. I haven't found a spot like this for a long while. The food was so great and very reasonably priced. The service was outstanding. Can't wait to come back.

Great rustic atmosphere! Limited but interesting menu. Had liver, meat sandwich, escargot and prime rib special. Good service. When well-done steak got sent back server mentioned it looked fine in the light. It was well done

Situated in the fireside inn this is ideally placed for dinner after a day exploring Kingston. The menu is still quite comprehensive and the surroundings relaxing. Service is attentive but unobtrusive. The quality of the food is very good, well cooked and presented and plenty...of different beers to try. If you are staying at the inn then this is the place to eat.More

It’s good to have a restaurant that is dependable for food, drink and service. After a “full” day (meetings--mostly zoom--and socializing), a quiet dinner seul seemed like a good idea, and it was! After sipping on a perfectly cooled Alexander Keith’s, a steaming bowl of...French onion soup--just cheesy enough--was the perfect foil. For the main, Tom’s Classic Burger fired (literally for the meat) on all cylinders and the French fries were hot and crispy. Simple fare properly cooked and served seamlessly is sometimes difficult to find. When in doubt and in the “Limestone City”, do pop in to Tom’s!More

We have been staying at the adjoining hotel on various trips to hospital and doctor appointments over the past 4 months and have been eating at Tom's Place and trying various dishes during our stays. Since the covid lockdown we have enjoyed room service which...was great and food was served hot. Disappointed that we couldn't eat in the restaurant because the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming with a wood-burning fireplace and pub decor. Next time.....More

Warm, cozy, nice wine, and food. Good choice. There really isn't a lot that you can say bad about this place as there isn't anything bad to say. I enjoyed it. You have to be vaccinated to enter. Prices are on the mid to high...end but so is everywhere now days.More

We had a wonderful dinner at "Tom's Place" (while staying at the Best Western "Fireside Inn" in Kingston). We had a cozy table by the fire - the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. My husband said the wings were awesome and the fries were delicious....My fish was great as was the accompanying Caesar salad. All in all, a fantastic, casual dining experience! Would definitely come again...More

We stopped in for dinner while staying at the attached B-W Hotel. They were very aware of Covid 19 procedures, and the floor plan for this restaurant lends itself nicely to the proper spacing protocol. The menu is limited but we had no problem finding...selections that made for a very tasty and enjoyable meal. A nice beer selection added to the experience. Highly recommended !More

The food was good and filling. The blackened chicken on focaccia with Currie mayo was quite good. My wife had a Caesar salad with prime rib sandwich which was good.

Back again! I really enjoy the atmosphere here. I had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich with fries and a vodka gimlet. My boyfriend’s philly cheese steak wrap didn’t have much meat in it, but they compted his meal and a glass of wine 🍷 Love...seeing Joanne again, a staple at Tom’s.More

Perfect for cold winter evenings since they have real wood burning fireplaces in the room. Good food since there is also a fine dining restaurant on the premises and they use the same kitchen.
