Traditional menu, as expected. Sausages were over-cooked, but really, that was the only negative. Quite acceptable otherwise.

We were having a small business meeting on a Wednesday morning during the breakfast hours. When we arrived, we were the only ones there. Our server was very attentive. The food however, did not meet the standards that I had experienced in the past. I had eggs benedict, which was quite tasty but somewhat lacking in the sauce category. The... More

I'm glad you were able to join us for a breakfast this past week. While it sounds like our service really hit the mark, I'm sorry if your Eggs Benedict didn't quite meet the high standards you've come to expect from us. Our guests should always receive delicious, beautifully-presented meals, so I can't wait to welcome you back for a... More

Dinner: Calamari perfectly cooked with two dipping sauces, an aioli and an exquisite sofrito type tomato dipping sauce. Salmon seared, with a moist and flaky interior on a perfectly cooked fennel risotto, topped with an onion confit and shavings of fennel and crisp apple. A perfect combination. Service was excellent. Breakfast: baked German apple pancake, moist and imbued with eggs... More

It's so rewarding to know that you received outstanding service, Rick. However, I'm surprised that your food was anything but delicious and flavorful. Our cooks always work hard to make dishes our guests will enjoy, so I hope you expressed any concerns you had to your server. We would've loved the chance to make it the perfect meal. On that... Had dinner here with a friend on a Monday evening,so it was not overly busy. Our server was rude, slow to take our orders, slow to bring the bill, slow to bring the debit machine and acted as if we were putting her out by being there. We decided to ignore her rudeness, remained polite and focussed on enjoying ourselves.... More

Delicious food is only half the battle, Arlene, which is why we train all of our servers to be polite and attentive. If you received anything less, then we dropped the ball, and I'd like to apologize. I have spoken to the young and relatively new server, she certainly was not intending to be rude, but she was busy and... More

Went to Windmills for brunch during an overnight stay in Kingston. The service was excellent, food and coffee delicious, with a nice variety on the menu. I definitely recommend for brunch.

Stopped in for lunch with my Mom, and everything was excellent. My mom had the special of the day which was a quiche and I had the club sandwich. Both came with the house salad and their amazing homemade vinaigrette dressing. I also was really impressed with our server, she was very friendly and very attentive. I will be back... More

For years I have heard people say that Windmills is the best place for brunch in Kingston. So, when a friend came to visit for the week-end we thought we would give it a try. We both ordered eggs benedict with homefries and extra hollandaise sauce, eggs over easy. Almost immediately, we noticed several fruit flies. They were an annoying... More

I'm disappointed that this was your first experience at our place. It certainly doesn't reflect our high standards as a local restaurant. First and foremost, I'd like to assure you that cleanliness and the comfort of our guests are top priorities here. The fact that you left with a different impression is beyond upsetting. Additionally, since your food should've arrived... More

My friends and I were up in Kingston for Homecoming weekend and decided to check out Windmills for brunch. It was the perfect spot for great food and friendly service.
