I go to the Windmills restaurant quite often. The staff are always nice and many have been there for a long time. Very nice atmosphere, lots of customers, good music and some good tables/booths for relative privacy. The food is pretty consistent and tasty.

Those were the server's words as she passed our table. It took 40 minutes to get the entree, one of which was the special of the day. The filet was warm and the sides only warm also. My partners order was similar. All as if...More

Perfect place for a family weekend brunch. You must try the german apple baked pancake, the ham and cheese crepe and the mediterraneam eggs benedict. All excellent choices. Service and atmosphere will give a great start to your weekend!

Thanks for the great review. Our Saturday and Sunday all day ala carte brunch has been a community tradition for a large number of Kingstonians from the day we opened in 1983.

We had an early dinner at Windmills before going to a concert at the Grand Theatre. What a great choice! Even though the street was all torn up, when we entered the restaurant, we felt a peacefulness that belied the chaos outside. The atmosphere was...More

Thanks for the great review. Have you tried us for dinner yet? I think you will be equally impressed, our chef goes all out to serve really flavourful dishes, often using local ingredients. We have a pretty nice wine selection too. :)
