3.50 for substitute salad. First reason I won’t go back. Second , as we are leaving, about 2 feet from the door the bartender says to put our masks on because he was probably the owner or manager and overheard me tell the waitress feedback...about the overpriced upgrade, which she agreed and said it used to be free and thanked me for the feedback. That was proper customer service. What he did was very pointless and a good way to make sure we don’t come back. I chuckled and said or what as we were already out the door and he said off you go then in a demeaning tone. Great way to treat customers who just paid $50 for a hoagie on a hot dog bun and a couple tiny burgers. There are many of the same types of restaurants within feet of this one. I suggest going to them instead.More

Love the place! Every time I go in I order the Cheese Steak Hoagie, and every time it's delicious! Spinach Dip is also amazing, and everything else I have tried has been awesome as well. Excellent place to go if you'd like an excellent priced...meal!More

The Copper Penny is one of our long time favourites. Been going here since it's early opening years. The food here is fantastic, I have always enjoyed anything I order, although my go to is the Mushroom bacon burger. The fries here are well known...in Kingston, and a must try. The staff is always friendly. Always great service and great food.More

I just love all of their food, but nothing tops their buger and fries or cheesecake. I eat here every time I am in Kingston.

We have been to the copper penny several times before and it’s usually pretty good. Tonight was not. I know they are known for their special seasoning on their fries but tonight it was soooooo salty. I have been drinking water nonstop since we left...there hours ago. The fajita salad was disappointing. The taco bowl was stale and the salad wilted. The burger was good though. Decently priced for the food you get.More

I ate here for dinner recently with my nephew, who's a very picky eater. Not much had changed in the 20 years since I graduated Queens and ate here as a student, not sure if that's good thing or not, but I still enjoyed my...meal. Service is friendly and reasonably quick. I had the grilled cheese with bacon and onions, it was a fair portion, not too greasy, and very tasty. My nephew had the chicken wings and said they were very good. The fries are my favourite part, I was definitely glad to see those hadn't changed one bit!More

The server was very ineffective & rarely checked on my family if we would need anything. We had to reach out to other servers just to get the attention of our assigned server. It took a long time just to get my kids ice cream...and had to stand up to look for our server for get spoons to use for the ice cream. The fries were very salty and when it was time to pay, we were not even asked or given the machine to complete our payment.More
