A throw back diner you don't see much anymore. What is amazing is that this place continues to operate in the middle of one of the best unique and varied restaurant scenes and food cultures anywhere. That tells you that they are doing something right! If you are looking for fancy, then keep on walking. But if you want quick... More

This was the first place we stopped to eat while in Kingston. We love diners with the classic 1950's style. This place looked like it was from the 50's but that it has been there 50 years or more. It could certainly use some upgrades to it's style and ambiance as well as lighting. Seemed rather dark in there. That... More

A must stop for a quick breakfast. Eggs, omelettes, pancakes. All the usual staples. Fast, friendly service in time warp setting. Tables or booth seating available. Across street from market.

I used to go to Morrison's Restaurant nearly every weekend when I was a kid. You could always count on tasty, hot, traditional diner food. The owner would always give us a 'PEP' chocolate when we left. Well, PEP isn't around anymore, but the diner is, and other than the location of the cash, hasn't changed one bit. The same... More

Very basic with a reasonable menu. We had turkey sandwiches and tea. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty. Unfortunately the Restrooms are a bit "worn and tatty". Morrison's took my US $ but on a one-for-one basis! Kingston was taken from the French and renamed Kingstown, later shortened.

This restaurant is a throw back to a time long ago, I think. We sat at the counter. Service was a bit slow. Presentation of food was plain at best. Prices are dirt cheap. There are better places for breakfast in town.

We were there with my family for brunch. My daughter's food came wrong, the ingredients in her omelet was mixed up with someone else's order. The waitress never came back to check on us and when we called her she said said she had to do something and she will come back. She never did. I asked my daughter to... More

The food was average diner food, some parts a little substandard. But they did have lightning fast service.
