Went there Wednesday February 15th at noon. There were 4 of us and the restaurant was not busy at all. We ordered drinks each and everything good so far. When we got our food it was good but the service was really bad. She was...a lady around 30 to 40 yrs old I believe, with black hair. I say this so not all of the waitresses get a bad rap. She never came back to ask us how everything was and really just hung out at one of the other booth talking to the people there. She never asked if we wanted another drink and after our meal never offered coffee or anything. The ladies and I usually go out once a month and this is the first time we went there. Needless to say we will never go back. The reason I waited so long to give a review is because I just went to Red Lobster today and it was drastically better. Our waitress came back more than once while we were eating to make sure we didn't need anything. After we finished she offered us desert or anything else. Now that is what is good service. Excellent breakfast

Friday night (yesterday) stopped for food … we were starving but going to dinner later so decided on appetizers. Ordered spinach dip - dip was ok there were a lot of bread things around but they were covered in come rub ? It was very...salty and overpowering-plain would have been better. Had half order nachos were nothing special BUT I was surprised came with half cups each of sour cream, guacamole and salsa (guacamole was extra but serving worth it) and an order of fries. We had one glass of wine and 2 sodas - the bill was $70 … not worth it. Breakfast 3 egg’s potatoes sausage x2 one with pea meal and bread - good but I had shells in my over hard eggs … little one had waffles — delicious! Lots of fruit with it whipping cream (not real), syrup n butter he loved the waffle daddy ate fruit. Bill was $50 Waitress was good but didn’t put in order for son’s breakfast so he ate last. Look at menu before you go … I’d give it an ordinary review. Actual dinner may be good but we didn’t get to that … they close at 9pm so had to do skip the dishes for late supper.More

Good food

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff located in the Best Western Lamplighter. We ate 2 dinners here.The food was good the soup was excellent. The mixed drinks are generous and refreshing. We loved the convenience too. Great place!

Absolutely Delicious

Great service and delicious food. I ate here 2 out of 3 evenings during my stay, I could have had all of my meals here. The ribs are fall of the bone and the caesar salad is so good. I definitely recommend you try it....Prices are very reasonable for a great meal. Oh and they make a yummy Pina Colada!More

Girls time

We stayed in the best western Lamplighter Inn so we didn't have to drive to eat here. Service was excellent, food was very good and the price was reasonable!More

Delicious food!

We recently visited Shelly’s for dinner and breakfast. My family was impressed with both meals. We ordered the Canadian pizza as an appetizer and it was yummy and so cheesy, Their ribs were tender and tasty, accompanied by great fries, cornbread, baked beans and salad....The eggs benedict with bruschetta was a fabulous breakfast option. We will definitely return next time we are in London!More

Very disappointing

I realize they were just opening after the shutdown, but the food was horrible. Ordered the chicken, overcooked and just bad taste. Overall a really lousy expensive meal.More

Great for take out during covid

We go to this restaurant often when there are no restrictions. However now that they can only be open for take-out we decided to support them by ordering take-out. We ordered one of our regular combinations and to our surprise it was not much different...than dining in. Their soups are always an unusual combination and quite tasty. Please support your local restaurants.More

'Early Bird Special'

3pm to 6pm excellent deal, includes soup & salad & beverage. 7 days a week. Choice of various main course meals. Chefs 'meat loaf' is really tasty.

Weekend Getaway!

Lovely tavern atmosphere. Service was pleasant. Food was excellent. Steps from our room and the pool. Capped off a great weekend.

Always A Wonderful Meal

Went for dinner with my Mom and sister and we all ordered the Steak Bearnaise with Mashed Potatoes and Vegetables. Our meal also included the soup and salad bar, a choice of dessert and a drink. We all agreed that our meal was very tasty...and that the Chef did an amazing job cooking our steaks just the way we like them. We also had a wonderful server who made our experience the best. We will definitely be coming back for another visit very soon. To get the special meal we enjoyed you have to be there between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. on Saturday’s.More

Horrible Service

We made reservations several days ahead for 9 people on New Years Day. When we got there, there was no reservation for us. Then they attempted to seat us in the bar area despite one of our guests who has mobility issues and would not...be able to climb onto the high bar stool. There was no apology. We went to Red Lobster instead and they were so accommodating and service was excellent. This is the second time our reservation was missed and they tried to seat us on bar stools, again disregarding our guest with mobility issues. We will never go there again and do not recommend this place.More

Met a friend here tonight

Met a friend here tonight for drinks, followed by dinner. We hadn’t seen each other in eight years, so lots of catching up! We saw three servers during the course of our visit, drinks and then our dinner. I had pizza and my friend had...a wrap. Our meals were very good!More

Kids' Menu Was A Good Value

The only saving grace about our two visits here (dinner and breakfast) was the fact that the grand kids enjoyed the items on the Kids' Menu. Their dinner was mainly frozen items..chicken fingers and pizza, but the fries looked homemade and were delicious. Their breakfast...was from scratch and were huge portions of pancakes. Adults need only order coffee as your kids will have a lot of things to share since they could not finish this feast. Adult dinners were what dragged the rating down, their $14.95 early bird special was a real disappointment. In most cases it was the quality of the meat, steak, liver, and roast beef were all a disappointment. We didn't expect much for the money, but it was mediocre at best.More

Fantastic Breakfast and Lunch Place

My husband had the buttermilk pancakes, my daughter had French toast and I had a roasted veggie Panini with soup. All the meals were delicious and very generous with their proportions.The service was fast and friendly. There is lots of free parking. Next time we...are in London we want to try this place for dinner. It also has a separate bar area. The seating area in the restaurant and bar are quite large.More
