My brother and sister in law made arrangements for a big bag of goodness from Grace, to commemorate me celebrating a big birthday. On Wednesday of last week, I picked up a large and somewhat heavy bag of stuff after I finished work. I waited...until I got home, before exploring the bag’s contents. The bag contained marinated assorted olives, two kinds of cheese, a loaf of focaccia, pork pepperettes, beer and cheddar bisque, lobster macaroni and cheese, six brownies and a bottle of French red wine. Big shout out to the staff at Grace, as everything has been thoroughly enjoyed over the past six days. Of note, my husband doesn’t normally eat sweets, but devoured one of the brownies. Without a doubt they are the most heavenly chocolate brownies that I’ve ever tasted!!More

This is a new restaurant in London. It is unique experience. Small portions. Varied and different menu items. I agree with previous reviews, try multiple small plates. Chef Angie is creative so you may taste unique combinations. We will return.

Overall the food was good. Can't say it was outstanding, but it was good. But it was distributing to have the bright lights of the convenience store across the street blazing. And then when we turned around a blank wall. Could use some drapes to...help make a lovely looking place look so much better and then I wouldn't feel like I was eating on Dundas Street.More

I had lunch at Grace last week (not my first visit), but I was again reminded of why this is a restaurant you should not miss. Everyone at our table had the soup and the pickerel. Not only was the food delicious overall, but the...attention to all the small details made the meal. The crispy rosemary (? I think) as a garnish on the soup, the butter sauce on the pickerel with just a hint of lemon - gorgeous cassleback fingerling potatoes. I am hungry for more just remembering this lunch. This is the best meal I have had in London in years.More

We ate at Grace as two couples. Although they are not open at the start of the week (to take a reservation), our reservation was easily done on line. It was a busy Friday night and at times, the service was very slightly slow but...nothing too serious. Three of us did the three course prix fixe menu for $40 which was excellent. Cocktalis were fun and well prepared. Server knew lots about them. The wine list I would say has an over-representation of "jammy" wines such as cab franc and could use more variety such as riojas and even cabernet sauvignons. The food was imaginative, well prepared and very tasty. We really enjoyed the whole meal. The staff were fun and friendly. London does not have enough really good restaurants with great food and this is a welcome addition. Hopefully as the new streetscape on Dundas becomes more well used, these blocks will become places that pedestrians fill up.More

The 3 out of 5 was tough for me. This restaurant has such huge potential. The location is challenging but they will pursivere, the ambiance and design 5 stars! The place feels great. The menu is also full of amazing options and freshly prepared high...quality ingredients. I want to say I would have scored this place higher but my expectations and the cost of the experiance were not 5 stars. I have no problem spending as long as the restaurant can deliver on the promise. Service was mediocre at best, but that falls to the training that's available, not the server. In a foodie high end restaurant like this one you cant risk having people in positions that fail to deliver because of lack of knowledge. When I go to a place where the expectations are high I want to be equally blown away by the experiance, i want someone that can take me through the menu and tell us a story about what to expect. Dont get me wrong it was a great night but missed on a few important details. Highlight of the evening was the sommelier that helped us with some great interesting wine choices. lowlight of the night were the size of the portions on the pickeral, duck, and steak. Maybe our expectations were a little high on the entrees, but if we would have had someone walk us through the menu in more detail we might not have been dissapointed. I wish Grace good luck and I hope this is sustainable as we would like to go back, and we desperately need restaurants like this in the city.More

My favorite meals are wine pairing ones. Grace exceeded my expectations and now I don’t need to make the drive to Toronto. It was our first visit and won’t be our last. We were there for NewYears. I hope they offer wine pairings other times...as it was exceptional! Staff was attentive and professional. Everything was freshly prepared with care and visually appealing. If you want a gourmet meal in town, try Grace’s, you won’t be disappointed.More

This was my 4th time to Grace. Each visit has been outstanding. The creativity, themes, sense of fun, and use of local ingredients makes it a meal to remember. So appreciate this unpretentious dining experience in London.

Your visit begins with the chic and welcoming decor - the color, light and attention to detail that plays out through the whole dining experience. The cocktails are beyond creative and absolutely unique. Our group of eight were rewarded with a tasting menu: gorgeous carrot...and pea soup, winter white salad, local pork belly, braised duck, Concord grape and pear sorbet, and polenta cake with an assortment of tastes and textures that can’t be adequately described in words. In fact, the magic creations that Angie Murphy and her staff concoct lay far beyond the contributions of individual ingredients. Best to trust the wait staff and the menu - you’ll love it all!More
