My husband and I stopped here by chance on Sunday as we were passing through London. We opted for the Family Meal Night of Ribs, Fries, Cole Slaw, Salad and Dessert for only $55 (for all). Food tasted old and not well seasoned. The ribs were great, but that's where it ended. The coleslaw tasted like it was past its due date, and the Caesar salad was also not very fresh. The fries tasted like they had been re-heated and the...cheesecake actually tasted like it had been frozen, re-thawed and frozen again. The strawberry sauce tasted like it had been sitting in a metal container too long? Coffee was room temperature and the service was terrible. Our first time there on recommendations from friends, however, we will not return.More

First time for me second for my husband. He loves the steak. I had chicken peach salad and would recommend it. Our waitress Abby was great. Friendly and efficient, she made suggestions and took good care of us. Ask for Abby when you go and...have a great time. Jeff Grenier the was also very nice. Highly recommend this restaurant.More

My wife and I were there for our 47th Wedding Anniversary, which made the whole event that much worse! As much as my Rib & Chicken wing combo was tasty, the wings were over cooked and dry. The coleslaw not any better. Basically shredded cabbage...in a cup. Now for the real issue. My wife order the 14oz. Rib Eye steak. When delivered to our table the server's comment was, "Here's your 12oz. steak." My comments were; "First off it's supposed to be a 14 oz." Secondly, that's not a Rib Eye. It looks like a Striploin to me." She took the plate back to the kitchen to ask. She returned only to tell us the cook said it was a Rib Eye. I asked her; "If it's a Rib Eye, where's the cap." She looked at me with a dazed look like she had no idea what I was asking. She offered to again return to the kitchen. I told her to just forget it! Summary: Over priced, poor quality and we didn't did what was ordered and paid for.More

I once again took advantage of the Birthday Club promotion - $20 off a dinner entree. We arrived early on the last qualifying day of June so there was little traffic and it was very quiet! Our waitress, Zara, was super nice, attentive and efficient....Casual dining at its best-we never felt rushed. My first treat was a Caribbean Cosmopolitan and it was a delicious blend of white rum, Galliano, Cointreau and lime juice with lime garnish. My first but certainly not my last!! Since it was early, I decided to go light with a Chicken Peach Salad Bowl. It was SO tasty with crispy bites of chicken, salad greens, cherry tomatoes, diced blue cheese, red onion, candied pecans and their house made fig dressing. One little glitch- when I was reviewing my receipt at home, I realized there were none of the grilled peaches described on the menu. Funny thing- I never even missed them! The other entree was fish and chips- 2 large haddock fillets in seasoned panko making the dish much lighter than with the traditional batter. It was served with fries and a very nice coleslaw. We thought it was odd there was no side of tartar sauce. They have daily features which, of course, can’t be combined with other offers. So next time!! I had a delightful birthday celebration and 1160 continues to be one of my favourite restaurants! Thanks for treating me!!More

My chicken bow-tie pasta was very good; lots of mushrooms, LOTS OF bacon and a fair amount of sliced chicken with the pasta cooked perfectly. My sister asked about the haddock and was advised that it was prepared with panko breadcrumbs vrs. the more traditional...beer batter. Healthier !! I'm glad she asked that as I hadn't even thought of it. She found the fish a little dry (I felt it was too) and said that the coleslaw was not a nice creamy slaw and that her lunch was disappointing. Regardless, the waitress and hostess were very friendly and truly cared that we had a positive experience. To be fair to the restaurant as well, my sister did not mention her disappointment or send the dish back to the kitchen so they had no opportunity to address the issue. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I may not have the fish, but I will certainly return for more pasta or another delicious dish with my husband to try for dinner :)More

Nikita was a wonderful waitress. We were there for our anniversary dinner. Our meals were great. Would highly recommend to anyone! Can't wait to go back again!

Needed a meal after driving straight from Montreal on the way to suburban Detroit in the rain. Knew London a little bit so decided to check it out. Steak is very juicy and the beer selection is decent. Service however was just fair. Not good,...not horrible. I was expecting a little more attention- it wasn’t busy especially at the bar. I would consider giving it another shot next time I am in or driving through London.More

so not sure why this place has any good reviews. This is the 3rd time we have been and disappointed each time. We have given it a good try. Today we had fish and chips. Any pics posted for their fish and chips show what...looks like a light batter. Ours was dark brown and so crispy it was hard to eat. Way over cooked. Also the cold slaw we were afraid to eat because it tasted off. We have also gone for ribs and they were also over cooked and dry. Needless to say this was our last time going there. I don't think we would go even if it was free! And no excuse today we were there at 5pm on a Thurs and the whole time we were there we were the only ones there.More

Great food (Honey BBQ Salmon) for me. Crystal provided super service and made us feel very welcome. Nice quiet atmosphere to celebrate a special occasion.

Juan, our server was the best. Like the best. we’ve been there several times but this dude out does himself. Good food, very good prices. $35 dinner feature is the bomb.
