We were in London for a lunch which we were bringing food for; had looked up sandwich spots ion London and The Bag Lady appealed immediately. The website and Instagram pages feature lovely photos of appealing food...and the selection, presentation and taste did not disappoint....Nor did the pick up service and the ambience. A true London gem...and we will be back.More

Came on a Sunday morning, ordered breakfast frittata, rolo special, one coffee $35.00. Not what I'd call value for money? It's breakfast after all. Tables are at a premium, people come inside the door stare at you while you eat and they wait, making you...feel uncomfortable and rushed. Service and food are on pare, dusty relics on the shelf make for unique atmosphere. Stops there. Would not return due to pricing and comparable breakfast options around town.More

Off the beaten path but well worth looking for. It’s not to big inside but very welcoming with great food and excellent service.

Made my first trip today and it was well worth the effort, the food is wonderful. I had their daily special, all home made, extremely tastey and satisfying. I highly recommend a visit if or when you are in the London area.

My friend and I happened to choose this place one day when we were deciding on where to eat. We liked the name. I love how they chose to decorate the place and the food is good. This is one of those 'out of the...way' places that has its own character. There are not a lot of tables but that adds to its quaint charm. It's cozy. There are many little things to look at while you're enjoying your meal. They even have a retro looking couch where you can sit and eat if you were so inclined to do so. How cool is that!More

We enjoyed this quaint little restaurant. It was very busy at lunchtime, but nobody was hurried away because of people waiting for a table. They do have a couch to sit on while waiting! Lots of vintage decor to look at and the food was...superb. The waiter proudly wore his apron to serve us. Enjoyed it very much and will return with other friends in the future.More

We were staying at the Park Hotel and didn't want the free Breakfast (to be honest, you get what you don't pay for) I found this place down the street from our Hotel, so we walked. It was only about four (long) blocks away. Walking...up to the front door, it's just a house. But through those doors you enter Shangri-WAWA ....somewhere in the fifties or sixties, with aprons and Albums on the walls, Games and chachkees on the shelves, and small 60's style kitchen tables all about the small room. You either like it, or you don't. We enjoyed the Pannini Breakfast special and the "BIG" Stack, which included probably THE BEST Hollandaise sauce I ever ate! I like that they continually come by and top off your coffee. Nice Staff, Great Food, good way to start your day! If I didn't live 12 hours away, I'd make it a regular stop.More

Service was prompt and friendly. Decor is vintage with lots to look at and chat about. Very small and quaint. I suggest getting there when they open for breakfast because it didn't take long to fill up, however, there is a nostalgic couch to sit...on when waiting for a table. The breakfast menu is refreshing with wonderful dishes to choose from. Our tea was served with the old tea cup/saucers like my grandmother used to have and a quirky banana milk pitcher (you've got to love it...lol) tea came in little ceramic tea pots and our breakfast came on different old fashioned plates. It is a very unique place to start your day...I will definitely return again for breakfast and will also try their lunch menu.More

If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot with lots of charm and character this is for you. You’ll find the walls filled with nostalgic items from days gone by and vintage tables with a great menu and baked goods to take with you. Easily...my new favourite breakfast spot!More
