This was a very strange and uncomfortable experience. The server was overly familiar to one of our party. Hugging and commenting on how much they enjoyed the hug was incredibly uncomfortable as we walked through the door. Tried to have a conversation but were continually...interrupted by the server who seemed to be third wheeling us without picking up on the fact that we were there to discuss a friend who had passed away. Not the place it used to be . Will not be back.More

No idea who's giving these 5 stars reviews. The person who greeted us gave a sneer of disapproval when we said there would be 5 of us not the 6 that we reserved. This person ended up serving us. We had to ask another waiter...for drinks when ours neglected to check in on us after our drinks were empty for a while. We were the third group seated but the food was late. After a while, we had to ask for bread that seemed to be on other people's tables shortly after sitting. The food was very average. Starchy pasta, mediocre pizza. The beat salad was the definition of bland! One of us asked for some parm cheese on the pizza. The server seemed to disprove then spooned it onto the pizza putting way too much on. Later they came back asking if we wanted parm on our pasta. We said no thanks. Then they came back again and asked if we want parm on our pasta in a condescending manner. We were like wtf??? The online menu is VERY outdated and inaccurate with options and prices. I don't like to shoot down an establishment but when you drop $300 on a meal, one expects decent service and decent food. We got neither. Additionally, we heard a lady at another table ask for something not to be added to her pasta and the server said "Well, the chef added that ingredient for a reason. Wow!.. Place was busy though so maybe some folks are just oblivious. Even if they gave us gift certificates, I'd give them to a coworker I didn't like...More

While visiting friends in London, we reserved La Casa for Valentines Day dinner and it did not disappoint! Service was outstanding as were the drinks and salads. The hardest part of the evening was deciding what to order as all menu items and features sounded...great. Of course, all of our entrees were served piing hot and were delicious!!More

My fella had a customer in town yesterday so we took him to La Casa for dinner. This was our second visit there and his first. We were all so pleased with the service we received. We had another commitment so we opted for an...early dinner and ended up with the restaurant to ourselves until shortly before we left. Our server was very attentive and entertaining. The owner checked on us a couple of times too. We'd definitely chose this establishment to entertain again.More

Our 50th wedding anniversary dinner was at La Casa, thanks to a Gift card. This was our first visit and we were very impressed. We were given a great table with comfortable chairs. The waitress was terrific, with a sense of humour, enthusiasm, and super...service. My pear and parm salad was really good, fresh, and filled with pecans. My husband said his calamari was the best he had ever had. We both enjoyed our risotto. I had the seafood and he had the daily special with salmon and leeks. Both were hot and freshly made. We met the owner who also treated us as special quests. We highly recommend La Casa and will be back. It has become one of our new favourites in London.More

Thirteen years ago my husband and I had our first date at this restaurant and today celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary by returning for dinner. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere lovely and the owner adorable. We were treated so graciously and treated to celebratory...cake for our dessert. It's a shame that this restaurant is a little far for us now as a regular stop but it was well worth the drive to London to enjoy the food. My husband had the rack of lamb which was a large portion perfectly prepared while I enjoyed the chicken carbonara with homemade pasta. Everything was perfect, delicious and wonderful, Great, friendly service too!More

The owner was really welcoming. There is something for everyone on the menu. We had osso bucco, Risotto Jambalaya, venison and veal marsala. All the dishes were excellent except the veal which was overdone and not tender in the least plus the risotto that came...with it was hard. Don't order the veal dish! The waitress was exceptional and provided friendly banter and exceptional service.More

Have been many times over the many years. This Restaurant serves decent Food however is in need of a reno. The environment lacks and is showing a lot of wear. There are too many choices downtown and I would hope they renovate soon.

We had a family dinner here last night. 10 of us. Great food and drinks. Ask about the “Dartini” served by the amazing Darlyne. Steak, pastas, mussels, calamari, salmon and salads were all top grade! They made our evening special and we look forward to...returning. It continues to be one of London’s best.More

La Casa never disappoints. I always order the Ceaser salad because it is the best I have had anywhere! Such a pretty atmosphere and a great place to enjoy a quiet lunch or dinner.

La Casa used to be my favorite restaurant until my last visit. To start I was disappointed to see some of my favorite dishes got removed from the menu. But the worst was the way we were treated by our server. Very arrogant! I did...not feel welcome as well as other person in our party of 4. The food was decent at best.... There is excellent servers like Darlene and David that work there. I wished that they would had been our server... Service is a very important part of a dining experience and the arrogance of our server kind of killed it. I will think twice before going back!More

My friend and I enjoyed our lunch at La Casa today. I had the Chicken Carbaonara, which was the best carbonara I’ve ever had. My friend really enjoyed her Gnocchi Bolognese. Our waiter was also very attentive and friendly. We cannot wait to go back...again.More

Went during winterlicious to try it out. Was impressed with the service which was attentive and friendly. The food was also very good. We did a three-course meal and a bottle of wine. the food was delicious. And not over-salted so you could taste the...flavors. I had the risotto jambalaya and the sweet potato and bacon soup. Both were flavorful. Prices are reasonable for a lovely dining experience. The ambiance in the restaurant is also quite nice. It's a small restaurant but the tables are not squished together so you can talk comfortably amongst your party. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would definitely go back and I highly recommend it.More

Was in London for a quick visit and decided on Italian for lunch. Actually planned on going to Abruzzi (next door) but their menu was too limited and not to my boyfriends liking. Thankfully La Casa had many options and looked very inviting. Upon entering...the establishment we were greeted very friendly and had our coats hung up. I decided to have the sweet potato soup and the chicken carbonara. Both were well done. The soup was not too sweet and was light tasting. What was exceptional was the customer service. Great friendly staff who created a warm inviting atmosphere.More
