Tuscanos Londonlicious Winter 2024

Had a great Thursday evening at Tuscanos enjoying their Londonlicious menu. We had a large group of 13 and they accommodated us by moving the tables so that we could all be seated together. All of our meals whether Londonlicious specials or off the regular menu were amazing. Several of us had to take our dessert to go as we were too full. Try the goat cheese and beet salad and braised beef ragu or pan seared chicken breast...you won't regret it. The restaurant was full with a few people occasionally waiting but they were seated as quickly as tables became available. It looked likeThe staff were kept hopping but were pleasant and accommodating. There is an automatic gratuity of 18% (not 25%?) for groups of 8+ and that was clearly explained beforehand and indicated on the bill. It was also mentioned when booking a reservation. That is the norm in the industry with most restaurants charging 20%+. You cannot complain about a 3 course meal for $40. All in all a great night with friends! We will be back.

Excellent all the way!!

Myself and my wife went to Tuscanos on Saturday night, for the first time and both left very impressed. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing, the service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the pecan, grape salad, which was delicious and I'm not much of a salad person, but loved it. For dinner we both had the evenings feature, which was a grilled steak with pasta done in a mushroom, gorganzolla sauce. Both our meals were outstanding. For desert we shared the capacino creme brele, which was delicious and went well with a specialty coffee. The owner came to our table during our meal to make sure we had everything we needed and recommended a perfect bottle of wine for our meal. The wine was from Chile and was very smooth. All in all it was a tremendous dining experience and we will definitely be back. Our choice for dinner was difficult because they have an excellent variety on their menu. And the price for dinner was very reasonable.

Worth a visit if you are in London

Stopped here after researching “best restaurants in London” as hubby had a craving for pasta. We ordered the corn ribs, beet salad (which I loved- fantastically tasty dressing), I had masala chicken with mushrooms and homemade fettuccine, and he had homemade spaghetti and meatballs. He had the New York Sour and thought it was really delicious. Red wine by the glass was ok. We shared orange cheesecake for dessert and it was perfect. Portions of our mains were too large for us to finish. The service was great for a small location with limited staff. The owner and his son both chatted with us and we found them both warm and welcoming. They were attentive without being too in your face which I appreciate in a restaurant. We had a fantastic time at this family run local gem and would definitely recommend a visit if you are ever in the area!

Highway Robbery charges 25% gratuities 😡

25%gratuity auto-charge won’t be back! Londonlicious 2 meals at $40/each + a $45 bottle of wine and 3 beers = $188! $38.88 tip! Unreal! And loved how it was just sprung us …’oh btw gratuity has been charged on your bill so don’t double tip me.’ Here’s a tip…let your patrons know in advance rather than rob them!!! I would have had water! Food wasn’t that great. Service was good and I had planned on leaving a good tip but never in my life would I tip 25% on Alcohol 🙄😡 I’m so disappointed in this. We were a large group too everyone was pissed! Had we not been in there they had only 4 other table. Shame on you Tuscanos. Will ensure I spread the word.

Swore at ,harassed and threatened at Tuscanos

I called in an order and was told “35 mins”. I went 10 mins after the time I was told it would be ready. When I went in for pick up multiple staff looked at me and no one came over for 5 mins. I Rang the bell once and no one came for another 5 mins so I rang the bell one more time. I had ordered a panzerotti and garlic bread and cheese. I received the panzerotti and paid for it and when I opened the box it had no garlic bread. Their panzerottis are small and I thought they put the garlic bread in the box. They missed the garlic bread. I went back in and explained the situation and was told multiple times I had not ordered it but when they went back to check the owner said they “write out their orders and it was missed”. There was no apologies. I paid for the order.To make a long story short I was threatened and harassed buy a white haired man who I assume to be the owner from previous visits.. I am 5’5” and slight build female, he was aggressive , swearing and physically came towards me and I was sure I was going to be hit! As a customer I have NEVER been treated so poorly in a place of business!!I had my husband on speaker phone because I was so scared and he is normally a calm and patient person he appalled by what he heard!! I will NEVER go back to this restaurant and would warn people to stay away!!

Definitely worth a visit!

A group of 4 tried Tuscano’s for dinner during Londonlicious. For a week night, it was busy and loud, so a later reservation would have been better - started to thin out around 6:30-7:00. However, the prix fixe menu was awesome. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers and entrees. All had to take home a doggy box to allow room to enjoy the scrumptious mocha crème brûlée. In spite of being busy, service was great. The team functions really well to make sure customers are looked after.

"Authentic Italian Cusiine" Worthy of the Claim

It's easy to claim that your restaurant offers "authentic cuisine" from Italy, but quite another to deliver on this hype. Tuscanos definitely delivered for us. Our entire meal reminded us of our experience eating in Italy. We really enjoyed it.

Fresh Italian at its Finest

This was our first visit to Tuscano's but it won't be our last. This family run business will not disappoint. We tried three appetizers- deep fried pickles, panzanella and caesar salad. The pickles were crisp but the salads! They were both exceptional. Then came the entrees with in house made pasta that was light and tasty- balsamic chicken, shrimp marinara and chicken marsala. I don't know which dish was the best because they were all fabulous. The butter tart dessert was a great way to finish a meal that was wonderful from the first to the last bite(including the leftovers we took home because of the large portions). A family run business that won't disappoint.

Fantastic Food and Service

We had a table of 10 reserved for our son's 17th birthday dinner. Once again the quality of food and service was excellent. For whatever reason no one wanted appetizers although the choices are really good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and I ordered the Spicy Shrimp Puttanesca and although I didn't find it spicy the sauce was rich and amazing. My only suggestion would be to update the online menu. The menu was about 50% larger in person and than what they have online. My wife and I cannot wait to go back again on a date night.

Impromptu COVID-19 Anniversary dinner!

We’ve eaten a Tuscanos’s a number of times and always had a reservation and a positive experience. We had other plans to celebrate our anniversary that went awry due to work schedules. We called after a late meeting hoping to get a table. We were lucky enough to get a booth and a quiet spot in their COVID-19 seating plan. Our server, (who I believe is the chefs husband) was as lovey as ever. I had the “Wild Mushroom Chicken Marsala” - my husband, the “Gnocchi with Prosciutto & Arugula“. Both dishes were well done & generous. Thanks to Tuscanos’s for turning a crazy day into a lovely evening.

We ordered takeout and had Create Your Own Panzerotti.

Our Panzerotti’s were delicious and very full. We had one with Ham, Bacon, Mushroom and Pineapple and the other was Chicken, Roasted Garlic, Artichoke Hearts and Fresh Tomatoes. We have eaten at Tuscanos many times and have never ever been disappointed. Their food is always hot, delicious and flavourful. We will be back again soon.

Food was excellent. At the time we visited it was rather loud but by other seniors like us. They celebrated something but their sound was so loud that we couldn't hear at each other at our table, although we were sitting behind semi wall. The servants were also slow and at times we felt neglected although we were among first customers.

Easy Covid experience

I had been told Tuscanos served THE best panzerotti but never got to try it. My excuse was there was no takeout. Well, Covid rules and so we ordered a couple for pick up. Enough for the 2 of us for 2-3 meals and delicious! The marinara sauce complimented the. Geese and fillings superbly and it took us awhile to come up for air. If I could change anything, it would be to make the crust thinner. Great meal Tuscanos!

Amazing pizza selections. We chose this restaurant since it was close to our accommodations and were rewarded with exceptional pizza. We had takeout so didn't experience the dining room, although it looked lovely. The owner served us at the takeout section and was very welcoming and personable.

Fantastic food!

My wife and I visited for the first time for dinner. I had the lasagna and my wife had the spaghetti and meatballs. Everything is made from scratch and it was delicious. The sauce was so good, the staff was great. It's also very reasonably priced.
