A great place to get a bowl of soup. Lots of delicious choices, and they are happy to give you little samples to help you decide. Pretty reasonable prices, and friendly, heplful and knowledgeable servers. It is not a restaurant exactly, you buy the soup...here and it in the well lit common eating area in the market.More

Seeing a busy establishment says it all. Very busy at lunch hour so don’t expect a for sure seat. Clean and friendly staff. Absolutely will be back!

Price and Quality of Food gets high rating ... unfortunately the walls and side of counter that surround the eating area are filthy with grime and grease. No matter how good and reasonably priced the food,lack of cleanliness leaves a bad taste.

Many choices of delicious soup, and they are happy to let you sample until you find the one that is right for you in that moment. Friendly staff, and great soup options. All fairly reasonably priced.

We found this place online before our trip to London. We thought this place would be great to go to after a day on the ski hill. We were correct! Lots of soup, chilli, sandwiches and different salads. Very tasty food! Can’t go wrong here.

Wonderful assortment of soups but there was very little in the way of lactose free options. As for a type of tossed salad with a lettuce base, this does not exist at Piping Kettles Soup Co.

Loving all the soup options and all fresh and the pulled pork sandwich has been an added bonus! Our kids also love it and the vegetarian options are also delicious!

A friend of mine worked at the Piping Kettle on Commissioners and Wellington and had great things to say about how fresh everything was. I never got around to going until last week. I visited the Piping Kettle at Highbury and Huron. There are so...many choices! If you are like I am, the larger the menu the harder it is to make up my mind! Everything looks great. All open so you can see everything.. The nice thing is with all their soups and salads you can ask for a taste of whatever you would like. That helps narrow down the choices a wee bit. Different and interesting types of soups , very hearty and flavorful. A huge variety of sandwiches and breads for your sandwiches to choose from. The salads are absolutely awesome as far as variety and flavor. Now mind you, I've only been once. But I definitely will go back again. The staff at that location when I went was absolutely lovely and very helpful and very fast. Like I say I will go back again.More

I strongly recommend this restaurant for top notch soups + sandwiches. There's a HUGE selection as well. The prices are great, and service rocks, and even though they forgot an item on my order, they were totally cool/apologetic about it. I'm about to have surgery...so this place will be my go-to for soups.More

Piping kettle is now located in 3 areas in London, Ontario. My usual stop is on Commissioners Road in London, Ontario. They serve approximately 8-10 different types of soup, a choice of several salads and/or sandwiches. The food is set up in a cafeteria style...and there are several booths for sitting. They have several different varieties of soup to please any cultural tastes. Lunch hour is always popular as you can tell by the line ups. You can get a small soup and sandwich or salad for just over $5 and that is usually perfect for me. They come in the usual Small, Medium and large and family sizes. There are different types of buns/wraps that you can order, as well as rice dishes. If you desire, they also have smoothies and yogurt desserts that are great as well! You can sign up for their Souper card and receive points towards free food. They also send you free soup on your Birthday (and I think anniversary as well). There is adequate parking and wheelchair spots. With the great value and healthy choices I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.More

Was looking for a location for lunch near to the Lee Valley store in London. The Piping Kettle came up as one of the nearby choices and decided to give it a try. This is a nice, clean, unassuming restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable staff...for soup and sandwiches that put a lot of the big chains to shame. There were at least 8 choices for soup and about the same for build it your way sandwiches. I opted for the cabbage roll soup (4 size choices) along with a large sandwich (there are two sizes). You can get these in any sizing combination with clear posted pricing . Even this soup had the option of added rice. The soup was fresh, very tasty and hot. The sandwich, which I opted to have grilled was again very fresh with way more meat than what you would see on a similar sized sandwich at a famous sub shop. My bill was less that $8 !! A very tasty and enjoyable lunch. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will definitely be back to one of their 3 London locations to try other combinations and will be bringing friends.More
