First time ether but not last! The atmosphere is very casual, it seems a lot of Portuguese locals there. The food was excellent!! The service is very personal and friendly. hoghly recommended for a family or friends dinner.

A few co-workers and I stopped in at Piri Piri last week when another restaurant we had been headed to turned out to be closed. Most of us had never had Portuguese cuisine before, and were blown away by how delicious it was, especially the...piri piri pork cutlets and piri piri rice! The restaurant is quite small and cozy, and was pretty packed when we were in there - lots of folks enjoying a good meal over some very casual wine. (It felt very European in this regard!) The server was very kind and friendly. The only challenge we ran into was that the vegetarian offerings were relatively limited. Overall, 10/10, and would absolutely go again.More

Having dinner here was like going to a friend’s house - it is simple but the owner is so warm and inviting. She told us to choose a table. She knows her regulars- asked if it was our 1st visit and if anyone had told...us they have no menu! It seems to be a neighbourhood hangout with lots of beer and soup served! The tables have vinyl covers and the chairs are metal and uncomfortable. The owner is gracious and accommodating. We got a basket full of fresh chewy Portuguese bread and whipped butter. She said she’d tell us what they had and repeat it as often as we wanted. The daily special was all gone. I told her I wanted to sample different things and to surprise me with a combo. Hubby ordered the beef ( she said “cut from the round but tender”) with creamy wine gravy and “punched” potatoes. Next, she delivered a complimentary appetizer of soft cheese, red pepper salsa and Kalamata olives- a really nice touch. My surprise combo had generous servings of beef, pork and chicken with 2 “punched” potatoes garnished with hot peppers and an olive. It was delicious and only $17.95.The beef dish was topped with a fried egg which is a Portuguese tradition. I asked if they has Portuguese custard tarts. After checking, she said she had 2 left, gave them to me for takeout and refused payment!!! Will we be back? You bet!More

this 3 year old Portuguese restaurant is bare bones simple fare well done, reasonably priced with great flavour and dynamite homemade piri piri hot sauce. Chicken and unusual thin cut fries best in London.

Family owned and operated. Just the way we like it. The locals and frequenters seated at the bar. Kids and family around. Mom and grandmom running the place. Just the way I want it. Order off the menu or not. Food is authentic and home...made. Prices are reasonable and worth it. One of our favourite spots. Please don't change!!More

I must say they have excellent take out service . I was on my way home from work with limited time to make dinner for my family. I called ahead to place an order of their grilled chicken and shrimp. The girl that took the...order over the phone was nice and also made some suggestions of their daily specials. The food was hot and ready when I got there and didn't have to wait around. Kids and spouse loved the food. Piri Piri helped save the day :) - MackenzieMore
