The Restaurant / Bar is a huge space, with amazing staff and a menu that is yummy but could use a few more options (being just past covid I understand why its not as vast as it could be)
Breakfast staff are so nice and friendly, buffet is your typical breakfast with an omelette station. Menu items are limited but the eggs Benedict was one of my favs from a hotel.
Evening atmosphere is less chaotic and more relaxing. Tv's have the news and sports on in various places in the room.
Wine list is minimal but there is something for everyone.
Happy hour menu for July, is full of snackable choices and allowed me to try a few things when I wanted to nibble.
The ONE thing that made me the happiest was the customer service in the restaurant. Robert is amazing and if he's the one to serve you, you will feel at home from the moment you walk in. All the servers I engaged with were super nice and this made everything even better,
I will be finding here next time im in the area.

My partner and I enjoyed our evening at the Valentine's day dinner hosted by Taza Grill + Bar. The ambiance was romantic which included two very talented guitar and violin musicians who entertained us the entire evening. The food was delicious! Compliments to the chef and the kitchen staff. The presentation was done promptly and the servers were very attentive to our needs. Thank you to all staff at this beautiful establishment for hosting us and for making our experience memorable.

A group of friends attended a dinner event on Feb 11, 2023 at the Taza Grill at The Double Tree Hotel on Dixie Rd in Mississauga. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and attended multiple events here. The Hotel was active, clean and had ample parking. The dinner was held in an open area on the main floor. The tables were well decorated and lots of space between tables. The menu included 3 courses and each serving was well presented and extremely delicious. The service was excellent and the musicians were entertaining. I would highly recommend the Double Tree Dixie Rd for a stay and their hospitality.

First off this is a hotel called the Double Tree by Hilton. Hilton should be disappointed in this Hotel trying to act like a Hilton. It's cheap that's why people stay there. Hilton is to hold a strong name I'd like to think. I have stayed at this hotel over 20 times in the past year. I have never had a great greeting from this place and always have to wait forever to check in. The staff like to talk to each other that has nothing to do with the customer on hand. People many times have been waiting in line to check in, and it is always a wait. After 10 times, you would think they would remember you. Yes ok many people come through I get it. When you stay at a Hilton and are a regular customer, a diamond member, you should be treated well. At this place it is far from that and maybe that's why the rooms are 139 per night. Some rooms are nice some are bad with mold in the shower areas toilets running all night because the mechanical parts are broken. Yes my room was changed not the point. I started to you use the app to check in the only issue doing that you do not get the suites as a diamond member you are upgraded for free. Let me tell you something about that. You have to ask them to do this and they look at you like your crazy. Yes that a perk of the diamond members. I stay at Hiltons all over the world and this has been the worse place ever for Hilton standards.
I recently stayed the on the Friday that just past and did the self check in to avoid the long wait and poor service apon checking out I had forgot my cell phone charger and I was half way home. I called immediately and I had nor check out on the app just yet and said to the manager I forgot my cell charger in the room I have not checked out just yet can you have someone go up and get it and I will be back Monday to pick it up. His words were I will leave a message with house keeping. Today is Monday I called and called and called no one ever picked up. Please wait someone will be with you this went on for 15min and 24 sec and you can see the photo for proof. No one ever came to the phone and I hung up and called again and guess what. It would do nothing like my number was blocked. It would ring straight not go to the selection of who you would like to speak to so I again let it ring and ring and No one picked up. If this is what a Hilton standard is people you better find a better hotel company because this is a sad sight for the Hikton standard name. One other quick thing is they need to find a real breakfast chef there no one wants 3 Oz of oil on 2 eggs like where do they find theses people. 🙄

Waiter, Tony, was fantastic. All the wait staff seemed quite good, which made the poor food quality more jarring. Food? Wish we hit the Dennys next door. Poke Bowl was clearly pre made days before. Personal pizza was reheated frozen. Fried calamari from a bulk bag for sure. French fries, I guess were ok. For a Friday night, pretty abysmal fare & fairly expensive. They claim to have an actual chef? Not a chance.

We had an awesome time celebrating with friends. The menu was yummy yummy Butter chicken bisque, Braized New Zealand Lamb shanks, Grand Marnier creme brulee. Service and ambience was excellent. An evening to remember thanks to singing and music by Alex and John.

So I checked into the hotel and then went down for dinner and it was near empty. I'd say there were about 5 tables occupied. I was seated and a menu provided. I ordered a glass of wine and a burger with fries. It was a long time before the wine arrived and at least 30 mins before my meal arrived. Very slow service for a restaurant that was not busy.

The service at this establishment was 10/10, truly superb. It is evident that the staff truly goes above and beyond. The food was excellent as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys professionalism, perfectionism, and thorough/prompt service with a touch of ambience!

This is the lobby restaurant of the Doubletree Hilton Hotel near the airport.
The room is spacious but lacks character. At night the electric piano is a bit loud.
The food is good especially the salads which are very hearty. The breakfast buffet is also a good deal.
The staff is friendly although at times there appears to not be enough making the service a bit slow
Good food, reasonable price.

My wife and I, together with 4 other couples (family and friends), had an amazing experience at the Taza Grill + Bar on Valentines' Day 4 days ago. The food was absolutely delicious! And the band (John & Alexandria) regaled us with wonderful oldies that kept our feet moving on the dance floor!

We had dinner in the Taza Grill and Bar located inside Double Tree by Hilton Toronto Airport West Hotel, Mississauga location. We enjoyed the overall experience there from the food, drinks and the amazing staff. The Shrimp Risotto was delicious! We would definitely go again for dinner.

Came to this hotel to meet and a friend who had an overnight layover and found this restaurant with happy hour specials. We haven't have to worry about drinking and driving so that was a big plus! Kuddos to my servers Ridmi and Tony and chef! Definitely will be back with friends.

Weekend brunch was fantastic! Great value for money. Service was excellent and the manager, Jannel Henry, was very helpful. She showed personalized service from start to finish. Venue was nice and bright which created a warm ambience for our get together.

Taza is great, and very reasonably priced. The patio area is absolutely lovely, and inviting. My partner and I ate here for the last 3 nights, as it is convenient, and very good food. We chose to sit on the patio for all 3 nights, but alas, we could only enjoy the patio for 2 out of the 3 nights. Our first night was FANTASTIC, we had the loaded nachos, calamari, and the Margarita pizza. We ordered a bottle of the Dona Paula Malbec, but they brought a different Malbec instead, after looking in my wine app, was truly sub-pare for the price point...we settled on a different red for the meal. The second night we weren't able to eat on the patio, as it was closed...we found this strange, as it is advertised until the restaurant closes...alas we ate inside in the middle of the dining room...when there were LOADS of other tables. And as I write this review, we are currently on the patio, and once again had a lovely meal, and a great server, Robert. ..but this is where things end. Presently, a lady, and I use the term loosely, just hopped the fence to get in, and fell on her drunken ass. There were also 3 other tables that were smoking on the patio, when there is CLEARLY a NO SMOKING sign posted...quite frustrating...and with quite aggressive language...the 1 smoking table were VERY proud to make it known that they were American...having several American friends, they would be disgusted by their actions. They give the American people a bad wrap, of which they tend to already have. My experiences overall with Americans have been great, and I actually used to work in Florida. Apart from that , I would recommend this place...perhaps we had a final rough experience.
