We keep going for the exquisite food, excellent service, and nice ambiance.
The entire family is engaged in the business. You can feel the dedication from the moment you step in to the thank you for coming and good-bye.
This place can compete and win to many well-rated restaurants in Toronto.

First time back at Rogues in very many years but the food and the service were impeccable! It was a small birthday dinner and my wife was treated to a great comped dessert.
For dinners we had the split pea soup, lobster bisque, and shared a Pasta Napolitain. Mains were Monk Fish, Half chicken and Veal Picata. Not a morsel wasted. The gentleman serving us was very attentive, pleasant and interrupted at just the right moments.

We hadn't been to the restaurant in years. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was the sleek interior with the open kitchen. I like that! The restaurant was not that busy this evening. The food here was amazing and delicious. Lobster bisque, spaghetti with mussels. Simply delicious. The only opportunity for the restaurant was to have quicker frequent touchpoints at the table. We ordered a bottle of wine and it took a long time for it to be poured. To pay our bill we waited 15min after coffee and desserts were cleared. Food was amazing, service could be better (our server was friendly and cordial however he did not visit our table in a quick manner after courses) hence the experience score.

We were a party of nine celebrating a birthday party. We arrived with great food expectations knowing that was a “Fine dinning” restaurant.. we were very disappointed.
The food is below average, my husband order the Rogues Classic Milk Fed Veal Scallopini which lack of taste, I had the Ricotta and Spinach Agnolotti, tasted like any regular pasta that you will get on a wedding party.
Ostrich was the “night’s special”, the texture was there but it was lacking flavour, served with a bitter sauce which made it odd to eat.
The waiter was very optioned when I asked to cancel a dessert. Definitely I will not recommend it.

We had to cancel a reservation a year ago due to covid so were excited to finally go for a date night dinner recently just before Christmas. We had always heard such good things about the restaurant but left feeling very underwhelmed. There was a starkness to the restaurant with no flowers, or Christmas decorations. We were sat at a small table for two with a divider being a short half wall with a planter, with nothing in it, as a separator. I chose a half bottle of wine from the wine list which was unavailable, so the waiter suggested he bring something to the table that he would recommend. When he showed it to me before he opened it, I clarified the cost, and was told $90 for the half bottle. I am glad I confirmed as that was not in the price range that I was considering. We started with a Caesar salad and lobster bisque. The Caesar salad was good, but the bisque was more of a broth and not the creamy lobster filled delicacy that I had anticipated. My dining companion chose the lamb chops listed on the menu at $49, while I chose the osso bucco. Both were very good, and the service was excellent. We were surprised however when the bil came and the lamb chops were charged at $55. Choosing an item off the menu should be done with full understanding the price. All in all, as I indicated, an underwhelming experience, and one which we will not return to any time soon.

We have been going to Rogue for years now but after the most recent experience won’t be going back for a while. We went with friends and we’re unfortunate to have had Jeff as our waiter. That’s what ruined things. He was sarcastic, scolded us, and spoke to us like we were children. We are a group of professionals in our 40/50s, so I was shocked at the type of service received. In the past service was fantastic, classy, and traditional. This past experience was a complete let down and we were embarrassed to have taken friends to this establishment. At these prices that type of service is unacceptable. You’re paying for service here, not food. Without service you’re left with highly overpriced food.

Good evening Nancy, I am sorry to hear of your unacceptable evening! I am curious if you are referring to rogue kitchen and bar or Rogues restaurant. There has been a lot of confusion between the two establishments. I believe you are referencing rogue. I do not employ anybody by the name of jeff at Rogues.

A lovely evening with delicious food and top notch service. I'd especially like to thank the hostess showing us to our table. I noticed her clever knitted band which held her mask in place. As she and I both wear hearing aids she explained how she had made hers as she seated us. Minutes later she returned to GIVE me a band she had knit and happened to have with her. Thank you again so much.

Good food, ok service!
Went on a Thursday night. Food was good, however, service could be improved. Our waiter didn't come once to ask us how everything was, or to refill our water or drinks. A well know person was sitting at the table next to us and the waiters were bending over backwards to serve them! I had pasta (Agnoletti) and the serving was very small. Tiramisu was delicious!!

Three of us had lunch yesterday. It was amazing. Service was excellent, just as you would expect at a fine establishment like this. We had a bottle of Tiefenbrunner Pinot Grigio picked by our waiter Luis, a great choice. We ordered one meal off the menu, chicken parmesan, it was enough to feed my wife both lunch and dinner. Then off the daily specials we had the Chilean Sea Bass and I had the Artic Char which I thought was the best, so flavourful.
It was my friend's birthday, Lu's must have noticed the birthday card. So just after our meal he presents this special birthday plate and three forks.

WOW .. What an experience this was.. Absolutely Fantastic evening and our server Dillon made it even more enjoyable ..Thank You!! the kid had the entire menu memorized in his head!! and he even knew about the restaurant series "THE BEAR" The food was of impeccable quality and the Flavours were incredible. The service was again very impressive and I would give this 6 stars if possible .. You wont regret eating here !!

Very disappointing, firstly after having been there in the past, we decided to take friends of ours from out of town to dinner. We checked out the menu on line and after arriving at the restaurant it was a big let down , to find their in restaurant menu was no where near what was being offered on line. After bringing this to the attention of the waiter, he said the on-line menu had not been updated,,,bad management as thats what drew us to the restaurant. Secondly, two in our party ordered the 14 oz steak only to be told they only had one,,,on a Friday night no less....one in our party ordered the mussels,,they were very small ...Their special menu list was so long the waiter had to have it on a scrap piece of paper,,,we had to ask him to repeat it twice as we could not remember all the choices,,,again bad management,,,type the special menu list on a computer ,make copies and include it in the menu or have it available on the tables.
Over all,very disappointing evening especially when it is not cheap,,,but I will say the service was good,,but yet that in itself is not enough to have us return,,,totally off putting.

Celebrated my husbands 80th birthday with a family dinner. Restaurant is a bit small but the food and service was exceptional though choices are a bit limited. Every dish served was great. Will definitely visit again

Perfect night out. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, the wine. All fantastic!
Friendly and very accommodating staff. Speedy service, hot and delicious food, menu was diverse… and there was also an amazing long list of specials for the night. High end but cosy.

Last week we went to Rogues for a special birthday celebration. Our friends joined us at a perfectly set up table that allowed easy conversation. The service was impeccable! Our waiter Ken went above and beyond to make our evening special. All our friends were beyond happy with the great food as well. Special thanks to Bevan and Rachel who made us feel at home. And to Paul for his attention and excellent advice with the wine. Could not have been a more perfect night!

Lunch was fantastic. All the staff are wonderful. My wife and I selected the halibut special and the salmon off the menu. Both were delicious. For dessert we split a peach and ginger creme brule. A special place for a special meal.
