During these crazy times and some restaurants open for curb side pick-up only, we were debating to order something out. After surfing the internet last night(June 11, 2020) we came across Zorro's. We have been going to Zorro's for years and always had a great...meal, but were a little hesitant to order pick up(as we live approx 20 minutes away) thinking the food would be overcooked and cold. BOY WERE WE WRONG!!!!! We ordered the Zorro's platter for two(can actually feed 3-4) and the 26oz rib steak. When I got home and we sat down to eat, I swear to God I thought I was actually in the restaurant. The food was AMAZING. The seafood tasty and tender. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The veggies tender but not mushy. They even gave us the staple garlic bread and pickles. I can't thank George(the owner) enough. He was in the kitchen working and took the time to come out and say hello. This is what makes this place so special. So, if you want a great classic old school steak house during these times, this is the place to call and order. Stay away from the Keg and Ruth Chris and order here. You will not only get an amazing steak, but you will be supporting a local business and not a chain. One tip: However you like your steak cooked, I suggest ordering it one less. Ex. If you like your steak medium well, order it medium, as it will still be cooking on the way home. We did this and it was PERFECTION!!!!!More

We were here last Monday for dinner with wife's friends. They have heard my wife talk about our Zorro's outings. John fixed us up with waiters : Jimmy and the recently promoted Babul Thank you John ! - great choice :) All of us thoroughly...enjoyed our dinners : prime rib , rack of ribs, steak and lamb. I love the Village salad ! My wife and I have been going here since 1975. The decor is lovely - it's Zorro's !! Zorro's does not need "modern" decor - it has old school character. All the "regulars" love it the way it is ! Jerry and PatMore

Our first visit to Zorro’s was like stepping back in time, but in a good way. The ambience of the restaurant reminds me of dining that I used to do in the 70/80’s. Our coats were checked at the door, and from the moment we...entered the dining area, we were very well attended. All the servers were well dressed older men who, throughout the evening, made sure we were missing nothing at our table. My buddy and I shared the scallops. They were some of the best that I have had. My meal was the Peppercorn Steak. The serving size was ample and the quality excellent. I would certainly recommend this establishment for a filling and satisfying dinner. Oh, and there are gumdrops at the door when you are leaving!More

Zorro’s promotes the classic feel of a steak house with ornate decorations throughout and professional waiters in tuxedos ready to assist. We were eagerly greeted when confirming our reservation on a recent visit and one could feel the appreciation from the hostess that we were...on time given the busyness of the night. Immediately to the left of the entrance is a convenient waiting room lounge where guests were comfortably seated awaiting their turn while secluded from the main dining area but with pacifying cocktails in hand. The historic restaurant features two large but separate dining rooms, one being straight ahead while the other was off to the right and closer to the kitchen and bar area. A third more intimate room exists to the left where private functions are entertained and that precious space was fully utilized. We were comfortably nestled at a deuce along the back wall providing us some privacy while also allowing us good sight lines to enjoy the interaction of the other animated parties. We were well attended to with an opening volley of libations. The standard steak house tray arrived loaded with thick cut garlic dills and Kalamata olives and was soon followed by iconic garlic bread in a basket. Our waiter was particularly helpful at finding us both the perfect balance to satisfy our differing dining needs. That there was an abundance of seafood selections available along with a variety other sundry items and that was pleasing. An appealing but importantly less substantive portion was ordered which radically contrasted with my bold order of the the robust ribeye steak. The much smaller cut of steak with some fried shrimp was successful because it was satisfactory enough to ensure the much craved steak house experience while the breaded shrimp retained enough succulence to provide the perfect ‘surf and turf’ hit. The bone in ribeye was unabashedly paraded in thick and glistening and at its precise medium rare best. Only the baked potato failed, mushy and beyond its ‘best before’ period and no amount of butter and sour cream could resuscitate it. That we weren’t rushed at the conclusion of our meal was appreciated even though the bulging bullpen of potential diners in the lounge pressed to get into the game. After many decades, Zorro’s continues to deliver at a high level as attested to by the joyous throng of dinners.More

UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! 1 ⭐️ would be a stretch. We booked our company Christmas party for 25-30 people and they cancelled our reservation a day before we arrived. I called and confirmed prior and they had no recollection of this, as the employee I spoke with was...unavailable, and did not ask for a deposit as they don’t require one. So I assumed everyone was all set. Never assume I guess. The food might be fantastic here, however the customer service I received was atrocious!! I have never received service from any establishment like this before.More

Went to dinner with some friends last night. This restaurant consistently hits the mark on food. Steaks are always cooked to perfection. Service is very very good. The only down side is the decor which looks like it hasn’t been touched since 1975. If you...can just overlook the red velvet furnishings, the ornate stained glass and gesso-cover walls and focus on the fantastic food, you’ll enjoy your time there. I had steak with crab and it was delicious.More

B'day time again (mine) - took a group of friends for a belated b'day get together. Food was great as was our wait staff of Gus, Peter and Amar. "House" was packed but we did not "want" for anything - service was very attentive and...we certainly weren't rushed - another superb Zorro's dinner outing. So nice to return to ! Thank you Nick, Johnny and family ! Pat and JerryMore

You can go to the Outback. You can go to the Keg. You can go to Red Lobster for seafood. For a few dollars more you will never regret the food quality you get at Zorros. For 40 years I have never eaten at any...place for steak and seafood that compares. Yes it is a bit more expensive but well worth the quality and serviceMore

My husband and I had a wonderful time here! A bit overpriced but we knew that going in so can’t really complain about that. The place could definitely use a renovation but it also somewhat adds to the character. Great wine list, lots of selection....We got the ribs as an appetizer which were fantastic! My lamb entree was a bit boring, but it was a good portion and lots of veggies and your choice of side to go with it. However the Barolo that we decided to splurge on definitely helped the lamb be more tasty. They also really know how to make a great dirty gin martini! Very friendly and attentive staff, will certainly return. My only issue was the desert was very disappointing, my attention was peaked when I saw creme brûlée cheesecake however the waiter brought out a cherry NY cheesecake. When I brought it to his attention he apologized and got the ‘creme brûlée’ cheesecake to go. Which was by no means creme brûléed... not sure why that’s on the menu but they do not carry it lol.More

It's more of an elegant, romantic or perhaps business meeting place. Not for very young children.
