The ambiance is definitely amazing and great for a special occassion or date night. I found the waiters/watresses to be very knowledgeable of the food and actually take the time to explain it to you! We had mussels for appetizer and they were pretty good. The main courses we had AG signature dish and lamp, both were pretty decent but personally expected a bit more flavour. The desserts are definitely amazing. The place is definitely worth a try and I would recommend to anyone visiting Niagara for a romantic place at a decent cost as well👍

My wife and I dined at AG the other night for our 40th anniversary. The service was outstanding and friendly. The food was impeccable, right from the wine, to the Orange Duck pate app, thru to the Beef Tenderloin my wife had and the Roast Breast of Pheasant that I chose. Flavours were perfectly layered with the almond brie crust and greens accompanying the tenderloin and the sumac spaetzle & chimichurri with the Pheasant. The desserts were simply decadent. Our server was incredibly attentive to our needs without being overbearing and the price was even better for a fine dining restaurant...5 stars go out to AG Inspired Cuisine...

When we arrived we were greeted warmly at the entrance and shown to a beautiful private table. Our meal was exceptional. I had the roasted eggplant appetizer with feta. A totally unique dish that I would have never put together but it is a new favourite. We both followed up with the flank steak with chimichurri and rosemary fries. All was delicious. I wished I had room for dessert! The service throughout was also excellent as each server dropped off a dish they described our meal for us. When the bill came we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable it was for the excellent fine dining meal we just experienced. We will be back soon and bringing friends!

AG Inspired Cuisine : 10/10! This restaurant was a pleasant surprise!! Food was excellent. Portion sizes were generous. Very tasty, local farm to table ingredients. We went for a birthday and the restaurant was so generous in providing some champagne for the special occasion as well as macaroons - post dessert ! The 3 course dinner for $60/person is an excellent and very fair price for the delicious food! We would definitely go back again. Thank you to the host and servers who were very professional and prompt. 😊

For an advertised 4-5 stars restaurant, the AG the Sterling restaurant's neighborhood is distressing and the location is worse as the restaurant is situated in the basement of a 2 stars hotel. The restaurant facade and entrance in real life and as shown on photos are depressing. The food is average and totally lacks refinement. There is no attention to details such as: 1) My wife ordered a steak which was served without any trimming and with a pile of darkly cooked french fries 2) the 3 courses meal costs $75 per person and the flan cake that is supposed to be part of the 3 courses meal is offered with a $4-5 extra. Furthermore, it doesn't taste like a real flan cake as it is too sweet and it does taste completely different 3) when we tried to order cappuccinos, the waitress warned us that the restaurant doesn't have an expresso coffee machine but there is only an ordinary hotel coffee machine. We ended up ordering a regular coffee and it does taste like an ordinary coffee from an ordinary hotel coffee machine. In summary, this restaurant should be considered at most as a 2 stars restaurant and it should stop advertising and misleading people.

Every one knows that eating out in Niagara Falls is very expensive and most often the food is disappointing. Not at AG. We heard about this place about 7 years ago we were staying at the old Imperial on Victoria. AG is right behind it. We met up with many friends for a crazy weekend at the end of January. 12 of us tried to get in there but no luck our group was too large for last minute. The following year we reserved months in advance and we were not disappointed. This year it was just my wife wife and I. We were at the Sheraton down the hill. On on Sunday we decided to try and get a last minute reservation and bingo. She had the flank steak (bavette) and I had the filet. Same as the last time...to die for. Can't wait til we geo again next year. BTW this is a tradition, we go to NF every year this time of year to break up the Toronto winter.

This was our 2nd experience with AG Inspired Cuisine for their 3 course dinner. Our first experience was as hotel guests with amazing in room service and we were so impressed with the menu and the service that we decided to go to the restaurant to experience that. The 3 course menu is great value and comes with good options for most people's tastes. Each course was beautifully presented and delicious! I personally usually hate kale, but the lemon and garlic kale on the beef tenderloin dish was fantastic and converted me into a kale lover! Dessert was spectacular as well - the chocolate cherry brownie was yum and the cheese plate was very generous and creative. Lots of tasty, unexpected morsels of treats! Even the coffee was excellent. Service was very friendly and professional. The atmosphere in the restaurant is contemporary and comfortable and you could see the food, which is unusual for a fine dining establishment and it is refreshing! All COVID-19 restrictions were followed - lots of space between tables.

Dinner was excellent! The chef is talented and imaginative with unique ingredients. They are very go local here and I like that. It was a relaxed dinner with friends and no rush. We were allowed to bring our own VQA wine in from Pilliterri Estates Winery and pay corkage. This added to the experience as the reserve reds we brought for the meal enhanced our meal and it was wine we knew we liked. Service was good too. As an after thought I should tipped more. This was our third visit and we will definitely go back and recommend to our friends.

We went about 6 years ago and decided to go back while staying at the hotel. The food and service is 5 star which makes a couples weekend that much better. I had the flank steak and my wife had the fish and we both enjoyed our meals. The only thing we would do differently is get the 3 course over the 2 course. When we went years ago for the first time we got the 3 course and were way to full afterwards so we went with the 2 course meal this time. However, We soon discovered in getting the 2 course (in our opinion) treated almost like second class when all we wanted was less food. The menu and wine choices were not the same quality as the 3 course. I guess next time we will order the 3 course and just not eat it all lol.

I have never left a review for any place before but my partner and I were compelled to leave one for this outstanding restaurant. Our waitress Fallon was incredibly gracious, hilarious, and well versed about the farm aspect to the food preparation and the wine pairing necessary to complete the meal. Everyone around us had nothing but glowing remarks to say about their meals and the atmosphere is just buzzing. Highly recommend this quaint spot anytime of year! Leave your belt at home!

If you're a foodie - perhaps even accustomed to botique fine dining in the big city (i.e. the downtown Toronto area), you will appreciate what AG inspirered Cuisine has to offer. Years of consistency in quality, creativity and service keep us coming back to this treasure, located in the Sterling Inn hotel in Niagara Falls. There is limited seating this time around, given the restrictions and restaurant has gone over and above to ensure that protocol is social distancing measure are in place. Currently, the menu is reduced - but there is ALWAYS a memorable meal or drink for a discerning palete.

Came here with my fiancé to celebrate a special occasion. We decided to try this lovely local farm-to-table restaurant and we are so so glad we did. The customer service was impeccable! We were treated like VIP guests by Stephen, our waiter. He was so courteous and accommodating. We wanted to make changes and sub dishes in our 3 course meal and he was more than accommodating. We got the Mussels, Carpaccio, Chacuterie and Duck Pate for our appetizer. For our entree we had the patty pan squash, heirloom carrots, duck breast and scallops. The produce came from both the restaurants own farm and local farms and was extremely fresh. Everything tasted fantastic and flavours were excellently paired. We would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely drive back from Toronto to Niagara, just for this restaurant!!!

This was our first time dining out since the lockdown and AG was our first choice. Being our 5th or so time dining at AG, we couldn't wait to come back because it is hard to beat the consistency, quality and service that this restaurant offers. Exceptional dishes, knowledgeable, friendly, approachable staff, inviting atmosphere. From the minute you walk in to the moment you leave you are made to feel welcome. The dining experience is intimate and the ambiance is upscale but relaxed. The flavour combinations of the dishes are always spot on. Head chef Cory was born to do this. His talent is innate. His passion shines through in his creations. Be sure to blend the flavours on your plate since this is where you experience the depth and layering of the dish. Always consistent, AG delivers every time. Highly recommend!

When we booked our room at the Sterling Inn, we selected a package that included the 3 course dinner. We chose to have the meal in our room with our own wine. There was a table draped with a white tablecloth and two chairs. We had the Coconut Curry Winter Squash Bisque and the Beef Carpaccio and Veal Tongue for appetizers. Our mains were Pan Seared Sea Scallops and Manitoulin Island Rainbow Trout. Dessert was Chocolate Ice and “Andrew’s” Hand Made Gelato. As someone with food issues, I very much appreciated their ability to accommodate me. All the food was so delicious and beautifully presented. Whenever business will take to the Niagara Falls area, we’ll dine here.
