We stopped on our way in to Niagara for dinner. This was the best decision! Off of the main drag, we found immediate seating, friendly service, and delicious food. Everyone in our party from 4 to 43 years old was happy with their meal. Best...fish & chips outside England.More

WOW!!! We were here in 2016 and have always wanted to return. We were not disappointed! Our server was such a nice gentleman I wish I knew his name. Tall with a beard. He was super friendly and efficient and kind. Prices are so reasonable...for the quantity and quality of food!! The beer is really really good. We did the beer flight and it did not disappoint!!! Try the beer cheese with pretzel bites!!! WOWWWWW!!! They have live music as well in the evening!! Here’s where we were super impressed…their vegan selection of items is amazing and not just one or two things. It’s literally so inclusive for vegans! And in the summer they allow dogs on their patio! That is so great! We experienced restaurants like this in Italy and Vegas and it was wonderful!! If you want a great meal, fair prices, amazing beer, and super friendly staff this has to be your next stop!!!More

Very Friendly Staff. Opened at Noon on September 10, 2023. It was Caesar Sunday Special with $5 drink and $6 Caesar salad. Had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with coleslaw on the side with Garden Spring mix, spinach, and Chick peas. The portion size 10 months...ago was 6oz but this time it was a scant 3oz though the same price as last time. Still the Best Chef's in Niagara Falls. Trivia night starts at 7 PM. Just had water with lemon wedges. Twenty minute wait for the sandwich which was very tasty. Left room for a 12 oz single ice cream scoop at Ronnie Don's Chocolate brownie special a 5 minute walk down Queen Street road.More

I brought my brother-in-law to Taps for the first time. We enjoyed the hospitality, good beer and the excellent fish with home cut french fries and a side of coleslaw. The building is a little tired looking but we'll be back.

Really fun Brew house, a wide variety of their own beers, I really liked the Bar Down and was nice to do a flight of different beers to sample. Server was friendly and efficient. I had fish and chips and it was a huge piece...of haddock, very good. We introduced a friend visiting from Europe to Poutine and it was also a great poutine. Would recommend a visit, funky neighbourhood and so nice to escape the craziness of Clifton Hill!More

This place was recommended to us by some family members who found it by accident a week earlier. The parking lot was full of some large pot holes. We weren't sure what to expect from the outside. Once inside, it was beautiful! Big brew tanks...and nice layout. My wife ordered chicken fingers, and they were great, really nice portion size, great price. I had a shaved beef sandwich and couldn't complain. My only tiny quip is charging 50c when I asked for Chipotle as my yam fries didn't come with a sauce, ugh, but it's fine. We have honestly never been off the strip really for restaurants, and this was eye-opening to explore more. Can't wait to return!More

Staying not far from this area, we looked online for local restaurants and thought we’d try here. Were we glad we did. We sat on the patio area. Our server, Jeff, was a real character. Very amiable, knowledgeable about the beers, and funny. The food...was so tasty, especially the chicken poutine. I loved my flight of beers and Jeff helped me to decide which ones to have. We loved the music playing too, just to our taste. A live band came on later.More

Stopped in for dinner and some beer, and glad we came over here. I really liked the Elegant Effect ale, my husband enjoyed the Moving Day brown ale and Flying Colours lager. When it came to the food, oh my gosh. That's the best meal...I've had in a while. Fish and chips were excellent, and we split most of a pork poutine. Wish we were in town longer so we could go back. Great experience, staff was great too.More

Quick stop in Niagara Falls on our way to Rochester. Discovered this gem in the “authentic downtown”. It is off the tourist drag so more of a local scene. Live music. Had the flight of their beer - it was all really good. Food was...great too and the service was friendly. If you want to avoid the tourist traps - stop in for local food and brews.More

Waitress was very kind and attentive. The beer was great and hoppy! Great choices - The food though was not good at all. There was no pizazz and no taste to anything. Except the ranch- tasted like vinegar. Was super excited about the coleslaw until...it tasted like just cabbage. Needed some seasoning like celery seed or even salt. The bbq sauce…. Tasted like watered down catsup. Would get beer. But not food.More

The Taps Brewhouse has non-alcoholic drinks as well as brewing their own beer. The food is delicious and healthy with very large portions. The Rueben sandwich had 8 oz of corned beef, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing, and swiss cheese on enormous rye bread slices, this...came with 4 cups of french fries. My pulled pork sandwich came with 4oz of coleslaw, and house salad with garbanzo beans and house dressing. The FIFA world Cup Series game started at 2 PM on several large screens. We sat across from the Chef's open kitchen window to watch 3 of the best Chefs in Niagara falls Ontario. Very impressive family gathering on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Many thanks for another great meal and will be back soonMore

Came here after nagging the heck out of my party because I wasn't gonna leave Niagara Falls without getting some poutine. Everyone left feeling very satisfied with both the poutine and the beers (for those who drank). I absolutely loved it and would HIGHLY recommend...it. In addition this was one of the most price reasonable spots we ate at and definitely seemed like a more local place if that's your kind of vibe.More

Hi Amy, yes, there are large screen t.v.s to watch sports. I can't recall how many, but I believe there are at least two.
