We arrived at Chris Ruth's Steakhouse around 8:00 pm. We looked at the menu which appeared very overpriced however, given it was highly rated and a steakhouse we assumed the food would be excellent. Upon deciding what we wanted we were told that side dished...did not come with the meal, they were all ordered separately but would have enough for two people. While there Steak is their focus dish we both decided to order prime rib. The prime rib was mediocre at best. I would highly recommend not ordering it. I've had better prime rib at buffets. The prime rib alone was over $80. We ordered spicy shrimp to start and Brussel sprouts which were probably the only enjoyable thing about the dining experience. We ordered the Cesar salad which was overdressed, and had a strange tasted, it was unappetizing and we did not eat it. All and all it was an unpleasant dining experience. With restaurants such as The Keg, and Copacabana steakhouse so close I would reconsider your options. I will never eat here again. Our meal cost about $400More

We were going to go for a nice dinner but my wife look into the menu . There is no prices listed anywhere in the website. She did some digging online and they are rip off artist. Everyone stay away Over 100 bucks for a...steak. People are nuts to pay out like that for a chunk of cow.More

My boyfriend and I went for his birthday dinner over the weekend on Sunday night. The wait was ONE HOUR to receive a drink, keeping in mind we did not even order our food yet. We complained to the manager three times and she stated...that they were under staffed and had too many tables... which it was not that busy. Once our waiter came she asked as us what we want to drink and we told her what we want and said that we are going to order our food as well because we do not want to wait another hour... She walked away crying on us saying that she cant deal with the stress of being busy and at this moment we just wanted our food... so we were both very upset at this moment because its been an hour and we haven't been served anything... Nonetheless, another waiter came and served us.. we ended up getting the entire meal for free.. which I would have rather payed for the meal and got better service because it completely ruined our night. The price did not matter... the service is terrible, save your money and go to another expensive restaurant in Niagara.More

The atmosphere is great as is the service. Zoli was amazing and helpful. The food was decent...but not worth the almost $400 for 2 entrees...without drinks! The steak was ok, but for $160 not as flavourful as i would've expected. Will not return.

They tag you the minute you walk in based on coupon you have.. 4 of us... had 2 entrees... 370.00 for 2 steaks and a lobster tail. With coupon...our dinner was 250.00. I've had better steak... better environment... better food. Zole the waiter was good...though.. too bad the steak is over priced.More

We ordered the chicken dinner entree $59, at the waiter's suggestion we ordered a vegetable and starch as they are served a la carte and we would be able to share them. The food was very good. We receive the bill and saw that the...sides (mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts) were $19 each. When the waiter suggested the sides they failed to mention that each dish is an additional $19. At $59 we assumed that they would be included. The tip is also automatically calculated at 18% of your total bill. We only drank water, had a $100 voucher from our hotel, and still had to pay $90. Fraud is theft by trickery and that is what we feel happened here. If the waiter's are instructed to suggest a side they should also be instructed to be transparent and advise the customer of the additional cost. Never again.More

The steaks were good as always but definitely not worth the price tag at this location. Sides were mediocre which is not what you want or expect for just under $20 for mashed potatoes or vegetables. Brussels sprouts were way undercooked. Drinks are as overpriced...as the food. While I’ll admit their steaks are better than the keg, the difference does not make up for the cost. We have tried this location three times and this will be the last. Most enjoyable part was our server Tom.More

My partner and I had an excellent prime rib dinner at Ruth’s Chris. We’ve had beef dinners in many places but the quality here was undeniable. The atmosphere was intimate. The service was very good. The staff was very attentive. Top marks.

Incredible service from the moment we arrived. The manager checked us in when we arrived and when we left a couple hours later he said goodnight and was shocked he remembered our names. Great attention to detail and the type of service you expect in...a higher end restaurant. I did notice the prices are inflated from the Toronto location but with our hotel package we received a coupon which was a nice treat. The food was great and our server Tom was a lot of fun.More

I love Ruth Chris but this was by far the worst location/experience. My steak did not come out sizzling, nor was it cooked how I like. They had to take it back and redo it. The mash potatoes were very salty! The only thing nice...was that they gave us a complimentary anniversary dessert when they found out we were celebrating our anniversary.More
