This was a dumpster fire of a choice in a city spoiled for choice. We went here so our kids could enjoy the whole rainforest thing...bad idea. First off the lineup and subsequent wait to get a table was inexplicably long (30minutes in line, and...another 35 or more till our table was ready. We finally get seated and it's BEYOND dark. Like I get that the vibe is a rainforest and the storms will be a thing, but we had to use our phone flashlights to see the menus (I saw others doing this as well. Some tables had ample light while others didn't. It took them at LEAST 20minutes to even come to our table, and then another 30 for WATER (and our other drinks). Food was about 15-20 beyond that. Speaking of the menu, I understand that Niagara Falls being a tourist destination that most restaurants on this strip upcharge a bit beyond normal prices as a matter of fact (and unchecked capitalism I guess?)....but we ordered a plain burger and fries which was $30. I have never paid for a thirty dollar burger in my entire damned life. The prices on the elite menu were OBSCENE. Like the $30 burger was the cheapest thing on the menu that wasn't on the kids menu. So for $30 it must have been a good burger & fries at least, right? It was quite possibly the WORST burger I've ever eaten - unseasoned patty that could double as drywall with a slice of cheap American cheese slapped on top. The fries were like deep fried paste sticks that would not resemble a potato on thew best of days. The kids menu was bad too, my son got chicken fingers and they were CLEARLY just frozen McCain animal/dino nuggets....he did not eat them. The whole shebang cost us $120 BEFORE TIP. No drinks or anything fancy, just two burgers and fries and two kids meals. I actually can't believe how bad an experience this was top to bottom.More

The ambience was fun, my friend and I were really impressed with all the well thought out details. We noticed how excited the kids at other tables were and we really enjoyed it. The service and food were very good. However, we’re both nature and...animal lovers and felt sorry for the real shark, in the aquarium tank at the front. It seemed to be gasping as if it were sting as well as some of the other fish, they did not look very at ease more like they were barely hanging in there for their lives, one fish was almost on its side which is a bad sign and we felt it was cruel to keep them in such a confined environment and not really cared for properly! I think they should put the shark in a bigger tank somewhere since now it wouldn’t serve it to release it in the wild, but that was a sad shark, and it made us very sad to see it like that, which is too bad, because the rest of the experience was really fun but that put a damper on it!More

Went to Niagara Falls to see the Festival of Lights and my kids wanted to go to Rainforest Cafe for dinner, since our old one at Yorkdale closed years ago. We all have great food and service. Expensive, but not really bad for Niagara. As...I said, the food was great. My sirloin was cooked as well (medium actually) if not better than the Keg or Baton Rouge. Would definitely come back.More

Amazing customer service, extremely friendly and polite… really enjoyed our time and my kid loved how friendly he was!

This restaurant was very exciting for my daughter. She loved the opportunity to look around at all of the animals. There is thunder and lightening simulation every 30 minutes which could have been scary, but we just timed it to take her to the washroom....The food was tastey, but it was expensive.More

Quick visit to Niagara with our granddaughters and wanted them to experience the great environment the restaurant offers. They had an awesome time and George made it even better. Great service and made sure we had everything we wanted, we couldn't have asked for more.

Great place to bring your family. Your kids will be intrigued by all the animatronics. Their staff like George who served us were very friendly. Their only attitude was being friendly and professional.

I went to a rainforest cafe a couple of decades ago and have many positive memories of the place. When I noticed that there was one in Clifton Hill I was super excited to share the experience with my wife. The rainforest cafe at Clifton...hill did not let me down. The atmosphere was amazing. The food came out perfect and our server George was phenomenal. He took a great experience and brought it to the next level. His timing was perfect and made dinner very special for me and my wife. We will definitely have to come back!More

When they say RAINFOREST they are not kidding my family went in and we saw 4 mice while in the restaurant my husband finished his food by that time. I lost my appetite they offered to take something off the bill no just a percentage....Then another mouse ran across the floor from the greenery, the third one was on a table I kid you not. I can only imagine how many are in the greenery is, I was waiting for them to drop out of the ceiling!!! Is there no care in the world about food safety! Can’t even imagine the kitchen!! Never will I EVER!! Go in to that establishment again gross SAVE YOUR MONEY!!More

My teen daughter and I only waited 4 minutes for our table at 6:30pm. We were pleasantly seated in the middle of the restaurant. We loved the thunder storms and animal actions. Our server was attentive, and we received our drinks and appetizers within 15...minutes. Our meal, which was shrimp tacos and steak, came 20 minutes after the appetizers. Our food was very very good, served hot and filling. Our server and even a manager came by to check up on us. Food may be a bit more expensive but you don't get to spend every day at an incredible restaurant like this.More

If it were not for the expense (spent about $100 for two people after tip and with no alcohol ordered), loved this place. Was seated very quickly, had a friendly server and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This place would have gotten 5/5 from...me if it were not for the very high price considering the portions received.More
