We loved our stay. Friendly staff and great service. Breakfast at Noble was really good. Big portions and good variety of options. Churchill lounge was interesting. They have live music on the weekends. The turn down service was special as I wasn’t expecting a rose...by our pillows every night. Only negative thing I have to say is about the mattress in our room. I found it to be worn on my side, and because I have lower back issues it was uncomfortable. And most pillows were too stiff. Overall we enjoyed what the hotel had to offer.More

We spent a Friday night at Prince of Wales. We went to the lounge for a drink before dinner. I prefer white wine. I asked for a chardonnay and they only had 2 to offer and neither were impressive. Both are available in any LCBO....I was disappointed as I go to wine country to enjoy and try new wines. I would have returned it but they had nothing better to offer. We had the 3 course dinner. Our appetizers were great. We had mussels and gnocchi. For dinner we both order the lamb shank. Neither of us enjoyed it. There was a few pieces of under cooked turnip. The shank itself was very plain. No interesting sauce. We both love to cook and want something special when we go out to dinner and that is why we try places like Prince of Wales. I was again disappointed by the wine. We were given a laminated sheet of paper and not offered a wine list. I guess it is my fault for not asking if there was a wine list. Part way through dinner I commented on the lack of choice in wines and was told they had a large book of wines. I am offered that we were not considered to warrant the big book of wines.More

The Accommodations were very nice. No hesitation to come back again. Rooms are a tad dated but comfortable. Woodwork was a bit worn in the rooms, shower tile needs a refresh . Some minor refinishing would be in order. I say this only because if...your paying $350-$450 per night it needs to be impeccable. The service is Outstanding. Staff is warm, friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. We ate in the Churchill Lounge for lunch and Nobles for Dinner and breakfast. I would have the small tables in Churchill refreshed or refinished. A bit worn. Dinner was great, pork chop was tender (easy to make those into a brick). I’d add some demi-glacé to that dish if I could make one suggestion. Breakfast was outstanding. The food, service and atmosphere was top-notch. All in all, loved our stay will be back again!More

This was our favourite part of our stay at NOTL - the staff was all very friendly, very warm and went out of their way to make us feel special on our anniversary. Bringing extra treats, getting us a good table, and even ordering us...a shuttle at the end of the night. Our server was fantastic and very helpful and there is a gentleman who helps with wines and he was very helpful in helping us choose a wine with our dinner. My food was delicious- the Rib eye and the Duck two ways were fantastic. Wonderful restaurant which is decorated so nicely for the holiday season. I also appreciated that some of the staff did wear masks to protect their customers and themselves and to also make us feel more comfortable.More

Treat yourself to a meal at Noble. We were celebrating my sisters 70th birthday and wanted a special dinner for the occasion, and Noble did not disappoint. The Noble restaurant is located in the Prince of Wales Hotel. From the moment we were seated, we...were well looked after. Our waiter Jerome was friendly and able to answer any questions we had about the menu. The menu offered a wide variety of items, all made using local seasonal produce and meats. From our cocktails, to wine, to dinner and dessert, everything was nicely presented and excellently prepared. Meal service was well timed. We were able to really enjoy each course, without feeling rushed or experiencing a lag between courses. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant. It is more on the expensive side but not overly so. It truly is fine dining in the heart of Niagara on the Lake.More

Well, I’m surprised to say the least. I had low expectations due to my previous experience here, but instead I was blown away. A server named Nicolas showed me patience, and a great sense for customer service. It reminded me how much great attention to...detail toward the smaller aspects of this experience can completely change the result. I enjoyed a meal from the security of my seat knowing my needs were taken care of. I’m going to recommend this to all my associates coming from far away, and to the restauranteurs: ask for Nicolas. Tall frail physique.More

The Prince of Wales hotel was regal. Noble’s restaurant was decorated to the period of hotel, and very aesthetically pleasing. Ruben the wait staff was kind and attentive. The seasonal pizza was exceptional very fresh and tasty the cocktails were average, the Smash-burger were great,...but the Caesar salad was un-edible. it was disappointing brown lettuce wilted clearly pre-created even my second replacement salad was the same. E for effort. Ruben or waiter was accommodating and pleasant. I would go for the good atmosphere and expect average food. It did not live up to the hypeMore

We went to Noble for breakfast and ordered the eggs benedict. The plate of food that I received featured well cooked eggs and a nice hollandaise sauce but all arranged to conceal badly burnt bacon - not extra crispy, but burned black. When I showed...it to the server he apologized, but the restaurant manager never bothered to follow up with our table. Further as we were leaving he was standing by the hostess, but when he saw us coming he ran the other way to ensure that he could avoid any contact with us. I would never eat there again.More
