Very traditional looking pub with a distinct Northern England feel (half chips, half rice). Great selection of foods and drinks. Staff were very good. When we were there they had live music and a very fun crowd. A great night out!

We were there for the Candlelight Stroll and afterwards joined our friends at the Inn. The live music is always good as is the food but what really puts this location over the top is the owner. This lady remembers her regulars even if they are only there once or twice a year, well done! We will be back

Consistently delicious. Have been a number of times at different times of day and night, great wine and beer list, various pub food which was always tasty. One evening there was acoustic entertainment which was thoroughly enjoyed. Will always go back for the food, drink and atmosphere.

We have been to the Olde Angel inn before. Anytime we are in the area we make sure to stop. This time it was for a late lunch. The onion soup is excellent! The fish and chips are the best. This time Megan was our server. She was a delight!! Great ghost stories and great service. We highly recommend this... More

We have been here a couple times. Food is great! Have everything from traditional English Pub food to burgers and fries. Most weeks from Thursday to Saturday they have a band from 9PM on. Last time we went they also had a $5 burger plate after 9PM. Have a great selection of beer on tap and in bottle. Go there... More

Visited this pub for an evening meal. We had booked a table in advance but they didn't have us on their list! It didn't matter as they accommodated us within a couple of minutes. It is a very busy pub with great atmosphere. The food is decent, hearty fare and I recommend the lamb shanks. Very attentive waiter all evening... More

The atmosphere and dekor felt authenticly English. The food was delicious and ample portions. We really enjoyed our lunch and will absolutely eat there again. The only negative part was that it was chilly in the restaurant....but then again ,it was freezing outside.

We had reservations for 6:00 on Saturday but since we were hungry and walking by we asked if they could accommodate us one hour early. Even though they were busy they did make room for us. The service was quick, the food was excellent, and the beer was even better. The Inn is full of history and I would recommend... More

We had dinner and drinks at the Olde Angel recently. Food was very good, with large portions. Definitely good on a cold November night! Love all the old pictures and decor hanging throughout the pub. Lots of beers on tap, and a good sized menu to choose from.
