Ordered the bruschetta bread, $15.00 for 3 small slices of bread with bruschetta topping. That’s $5.00 for a slice. So overpriced, it’s ridiculous. This local will not be recommending or supporting this business anymore.

Amazing food and service. Always come here when in the area. Steak and kidney pie was simply amazing. Reminded me of my grandmothers lei. My wife loved her Shepherds Pie. It was hot and very rich and tasted. She raved about it. Service was as...always very very good. Attentive and pleasing. Another great experience. Thank you!More

Beer was good, but limited choice. Ordered food and vegetables were well over cooked and slightly mushy and fries were a lot of crispy ends of potato. Service was good.More

Colonial lunch in s colonial era pub. Fish and chips, pot pie, local stouts, ales, wine within the old restaurant. The camaraderie of the locals was present. Very cozy by the fire.

I have been coming to this establishment for years, it is a fun little haunt and well known to the locals. The food is what you would expect from a pub, but the atmosphere, the staff and the spirits are all above par. Go you...will love it.More

We experienced vulgar language, bullying, assault, intoxication - all from the owner of the Angel Inn. It was my birthday and we are all locals of Niagara-On-The-Lake who have been supporting this restaurant for over 40 years. The police were called and a report was...filed which we will follow up on. The owner Kelly Turner had no respect for her customers and since we have posted this story on multiple outlets we have heard so many stories about this behaviour from other customers, previous owners and past & current employees. Please do not go to that restaurant for your safety. The band that was playing was amazing and I feel bad that we will not be supporting them at that location but we promise to find your schedule and come celebrate our next event where you are playing. There was approx 40 locals there Saturday night and obviously not an isolated incident. Her liquor licence should be taken away. I only wish her happiness and good health moving forward. SueMore

In this quaint town for our 35th anniversary and a show at the Shaw, this was this night’s nearby eatery. Good choice. Really busy at 5 pm on a Saturday night, we were seated in a cozy back room and promptly served by delightful Cass....This missus thought the Greek salad was very good, fresh and crispy with a generous portion of grilled chicken.chicken. I thought the Great Canadian burger with mushrooms was just that, excellent in every way, and the fries were superb. With two draft local IPAs and a glass of red, $90 before tip.More

We chose this place for lunch because The Olde Angel Inn is one of the oldest pubs in Canada - built in 1789, and rebuilt after the War of 1812. Inside is a great atmosphere with plenty of interesting and historical items to look at...while you are there. The lighting, the beams, and thick plank floors from the 1800s make it cozy. My husband had the steak poutine. He said it was very flavorful, but didn't have much meat in it. I had the Fisherman's Pie, and it was extraordinarily delicious. I loved it, and I wouldn't mind driving six hours to go there so I can order it again. It was served with a delicious side salad that looked too good to eat, I am going to write or call them to see if they would share the recipe for that Fisherman's Pie.More

The history of the inn starts the experience for out of town visitors. The food makes the visit memorable. Our waitress was wonderful. We had quiche, steak pie and fish and chips. All were very good and served very quickly. Overall another great experience.

Lovely welcome, good menu. Not old in terms of England but for Canada. Quaint quirky pub with food. If you have walking difficulties maybe this is not the pub for you as the toilets/bathrooms are downstairs that have a traditional wooden staircase to get to...them. Hand rails are in place. Staff are very very friendly and helpful. We had traditional British pub food and Poutine with a twist. Highly recommended. I wanted Pumpkin Pie but they didn’t have any left, so I settled for a Pumpkin beer, which for a non beer drinker was surprisingly good.More

Do NOT stay here, every Ryan says in his July 14th review is 100% accurate. The rooms are located above the pub & the live music reverberates through the room until 1am closing . Combine that with the lousy wifi, no parking and constant noise...from customers taking their smoke outside the front door results in a thoroughly disappointing stay, the owners should make customers aware of the conditions at booking time.More
