Fantastic service, great atmosphere and good food!
Our server Frankie was fast, friendly and Fabulous! We visited on Father’s Day 2021 and they were super busy but Frankie made sure we were quickly seated on the outdoor patio and got our drinks.
Our food order was taken and within 15 minutes we had piping hot fresh delicious food.
Can’t wait to return to try some of the other excellent sounding sandwiches.!!

Always felt they served one of the best Cobb Salads...until now. Last week's salad, while tasty with the always great dressing, was more like a large bowl of lettuce...it was sadly lacking in the usual quantity of Bacon, Chicken, Tomatoes and Eggs and the Blue Cheese and Walnuts were virtually MIA. A real disappointment on one of our
favourite items here. I immediately emailed directly on the Contact format but unfortunately received no reply.

We enjoyed a nice time at Butler’s. We had the pizza and Caesar salad. The pizza crust had a dusting of salt that made it over the top delicious and the Caesar salad was large enough for two. Our server Danielle made us feel like we’d been there many times before. The patio area was nice to sit and enjoy a relaxing meal. We’ll be sure to make it back.

We have given Butlers several try’s as it is in our neighbourhood but Friday was the last time we will ever attempt having anything from there. We ordered a pizza early on in the day to be delivered for 7pm and although it arrived on time, it was ice cold, had sat in a car for sure for 30 minutes up to an hour. No excuse for this, the drive is one minute from the bar. They are also unreliable, sometimes they deliver p, sometimes they don’t, we’ve gone in and waited 30 minutes for service before walking out. Never again!

Butler's is on Mary Street near the busy intersection of Niagara Stone. It can't be seen from the intersection because it is around the corner of the Best Western hotel. We discovered it the last time we were in town 5 years ago and remembered the good food and reasonable pricing due to being out of the downtown historic district. Now open for breakfast on Thursday, I went for the Canadian, 2 eggs, 3 pieces of peameal bacon, home fries and toast of which all was very good. My wife liked her western omelet that was so large I had to help her with a little of it.
They have a nice casual family friendly atmosphere with daily food and beer specials, with plenty of TV's as well as a nice outdoor dining patio. Darla was efficient, friendly and informative answering my many questions as well as giving us some local insight. I actually remembered her somehow from our 1st visit 5 years ago. On our next visit we will come back for dinner or late night.

Yesterday evening, we ordered food online for delivery. When the delivery hadn't arrived by an hour after the estimated delivery time, we phoned. No-one answered, so we left a query message. There was no delivery and no phone reply by 20 minutes later, so we phoned again. This time someone answered. They put us on hold for another 5 minutes, then reported that they were having "problems with the tablet". But they did locate the unfilled order. It arrived about 30 minutes later. All in all, the order was 2 hours late. If I was the manager, I would have included a discount, or a gift coupon, or an extra item. But nothing. The food was good. But there is lots of good food for delivery in NOTL. This was no way to sustain customer loyalty.

Hubby and I stopped for lunch. Typical sports bar ambience, with good service. I had the Philly steak sandwich which came with mushrooms, peppers, caramelized onions on garlic bread. Hubby had the Jack Daniel's burger which came with horseradish sauce on the side. His onion rings were nice and crispy, while I enjoyed my fries and gravy. Both were good portions and delicious. Lots of condiments on the table: malt vinegar, white vinegar, Tabasco, ketchup, mustard, relish, but we only used the Tabasco.

Just happened to find this restaurant/bar while driving in Niagara on the lake. We have never been thrilled with most places we’ve eaten at but the Butlers Grill was totally amazing. The three of us ordered and shared the Cobb salad. The portion as large and so fresh and flavourful. So much chicken with a mixed green salad and veggies with an amazing walnut vinaigrette. It puts The Cheesecake factories Cobb salad to shame. Then we shared the Philly steak sandwich which was so delicious with tender beef, onions, peppers, mushrooms and cheese on a large panini bun served with our choice of onion rings. The third choice was the classic burger that came with a generous portion of homemade fries which was also fantastic. Service was great as well as very hospitable atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back. We found the best food in the Niagara area.

We arrived just after the game between England nad Germany had started, and there was a TV set on the patio that allowed us to follow the action. The meal was standard issue for a sports bar. My club sandwich was OK but nothing special. The other members of our party were satisfied but hardly ecstatic. The service was very good.

The shrimp poboy sandwich was very good and an excellent size.
The reuben sandwich was small and a small amount of fries.
There was a very little sauerkraut on the sandwich.
As well the cutlery was dirty and there was lipstick on one of the glasses.
The service was excellent but we probably would not go back.

This was a local place it seemed but we were welcomed and people were friendly. Service was great! We had the turkey sandwich…not great but ok…and the chicken wrap which was good. We sat near where food was coming out and the pizza looked good made in a stone oven. All the food was pretty good. Nothing fancy but a good amount of food for a reasonable price.

We had made the rounds after 4 days in town, so I was reading reviews and looking for something, different. We found it. This Grill was the answer and the food was standard bar food but it was excellent, priced reasonable, and plentiful. We had the onion rings and bacon burgers. Glad we found it and will return agian.

Near our Lodging’s, this was recommended to us by our end keepers. Husband had the taco Tuesday special and I had a generous helping of the soup which came with bread. We shared a pint of beer. The total came to $42.34 with tip. The service from Hillary was very good. you can tell this is a popular place with the locals

Had a really nice lunch on the lovely patio!! Service was great. Caesar drink was one of the best I’ve had. Half a Caesar salad was huge but just ok. Needed more dressing and parm. Pepperoni pizza was just like over the river/US!!! I would go back for the pizza but all food we saw delivered to other tables looked fabulous. Can’t wait to go back!

This pub is popular with locals in Niagara-on-the-Lake, being slightly off the tourist track. It’s one of the places servers from other establishments go to wind down after their shift. The food is great, spectacular ribs, really good pizza from their real pizza oven and all the other pub favourites. Sports bar atmosphere, but don’t let that fool you, and the prices are very reasonable. Great summer patio.
