Drove around Niagara -on-the-Lake to find a breakfast spot, found Butler's Bar & Grill...sportsbar for breakfast why not!! Patio looked really nice and seemed like there were a few people enjoying it too. Turns out great breakfast! We both had omelettes, which were really good...came with homefries and toast. Great price & great service too! Will return next time we visit for the weekend.More

All 5 of us had their Friday night special of fish and chips. Awesome amount and quality. So reasonable in this day and age. Great service by self described new waitress. Will definitely go back

Had several lunches and dinners here while staying in Niagara on the Lake and all were very good. Staff were courteous and helpful. Prices were reasonable for the area.

Hubby and I stopped for lunch. Typical sports bar ambience, with good service. I had the Philly steak sandwich which came with mushrooms, peppers, caramelized onions on garlic bread. Hubby had the Jack Daniel's burger which came with horseradish sauce on the side. His onion...rings were nice and crispy, while I enjoyed my fries and gravy. Both were good portions and delicious. Lots of condiments on the table: malt vinegar, white vinegar, Tabasco, ketchup, mustard, relish, but we only used the Tabasco.More

We ordered a mixed mushroom pizza from Butler's after hearing they we very good, and we heard correct. The mushroom pizza had marinara sauce, mixed mushrooms, caramelized onions, garlic, and goat cheese-it was excellent! Give them a try if your in the mood for pizza,...very good for a Sports Bar.More

We enjoyed a nice time at Butler’s. We had the pizza and Caesar salad. The pizza crust had a dusting of salt that made it over the top delicious and the Caesar salad was large enough for two. Our server Danielle made us feel like...we’d been there many times before. The patio area was nice to sit and enjoy a relaxing meal. We’ll be sure to make it back.More

Sat in their large expanded patio area abutting the parking lot but enhanced by plants and flowers. Had a nice local craft beer and local red. My wife really enjoyed her Cobb Salad and I loved my Shrimp Po'boy. Both items were tasty and plentiful...enough to take some home! Wait staff was helpful and pleasant.More

My wife and I ate breakfast here Sunday morning while staying at the Best Western Colonel Butler Inn next door, prompted to do so by a voucher that we assumed was in lieu of eating the complimentary but unappealing breakfast that came with the room....We (and everyone else there) waited what seemed like forever to get served, because there was only one waitress serving 6 - 8 tables on the patio. The coffee was the *worst* we've ever had and the meal itself would rate 2 stars out of 5. To add insult to injury, we were charged $8.95 each for the voucher by the hotel. Horrible experience.More

Yesterday evening, we ordered food online for delivery. When the delivery hadn't arrived by an hour after the estimated delivery time, we phoned. No-one answered, so we left a query message. There was no delivery and no phone reply by 20 minutes later, so we...phoned again. This time someone answered. They put us on hold for another 5 minutes, then reported that they were having "problems with the tablet". But they did locate the unfilled order. It arrived about 30 minutes later. All in all, the order was 2 hours late. If I was the manager, I would have included a discount, or a gift coupon, or an extra item. But nothing. The food was good. But there is lots of good food for delivery in NOTL. This was no way to sustain customer loyalty.More

The shrimp poboy sandwich was very good and an excellent size. The reuben sandwich was small and a small amount of fries. There was a very little sauerkraut on the sandwich. As well the cutlery was dirty and there was lipstick on one of the...glasses. The service was excellent but we probably would not go back.More
