This restaurant was rated highly by us in 2014 ,and due to an ownership change , is now poor. after 25 years of very enjoyable food,.After 3 visits, we can, no longer recommend this place due to midday food selection. It is still very clean, with friendly serving especially in the evening.

I understand it is under New ownership and is presently under renovation but if it has similar food to the old Epicurean, it will be a wonderful place to eat.

We went here for lunch and were not impressed with any part of the experience. It's clean and cafeteria style, quite overpriced for what we got, portions are adequate , very few gluten free options.

Busy all the time and the best sandwhich in the town. Favorite for the seniors on a bus tour. Usual excellent soups.

Stumbled upon this place and loved it. Its cafeteria style during lunch with fresh made soups, salads and sandwiches. Price was reflective of the fresh made. Seating outside with music was beautiful.

Food is okay which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. Why did it lose 3? Well first of all the food (which doesn't taste bad but it's nothing special) is microwaved which is just a total turn off. Their bottles of beer are over priced as is their food. Especially since it's microwaved. All around nice staff but not... More

To their defence, we did stop in at 3 PM for lunch. Service is cafeteria style: you slide a tray along and pick up your food. They were sold out of our first choice, quiche. My husband ordered a Reuben sandwich which was served on ordinary sliced bread with microwaved filling. I only had soup which was overly salted. We both... More

We have eaten here every visit we make to NOTL. The sandwiches, soup, salads, breads are homemade and extraordinarily tasty and good. We ate here twice on our 2 day visit. The split pea soup was smoky, but not salty. The chicken salad and turkey sandwiches were terrific. There are many side salads to choose from in a glass case... More

We have been here before, and always enjoy our meals, yesterday we had lunch and really enjoyed it. The service is also very good.

New owners and needs improvement with the staff. It has a great area to sit outside at the back and side of the restaurant.
