Food is okay which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. Why did it lose 3? Well first of all the food (which doesn't taste bad but it's nothing special) is microwaved which is just a total turn off. Their bottles of beer are over priced as is their food. Especially since it's microwaved. All around nice staff but not... More

To their defence, we did stop in at 3 PM for lunch. Service is cafeteria style: you slide a tray along and pick up your food. They were sold out of our first choice, quiche. My husband ordered a Reuben sandwich which was served on ordinary sliced bread with microwaved filling. I only had soup which was overly salted. We both... More

We have eaten here every visit we make to NOTL. The sandwiches, soup, salads, breads are homemade and extraordinarily tasty and good. We ate here twice on our 2 day visit. The split pea soup was smoky, but not salty. The chicken salad and turkey sandwiches were terrific. There are many side salads to choose from in a glass case... More

We have been here before, and always enjoy our meals, yesterday we had lunch and really enjoyed it. The service is also very good.

New owners and needs improvement with the staff. It has a great area to sit outside at the back and side of the restaurant.

We stopped in for lunch and have no complaints about the food but it is very much like a cafeteria and the cost did not quite match. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. We were there for lunch so it is quite possible that dinner is an entirely different experience.

The first time I visited Niagara on the Lake I asked where the locals dined.....this is what most suggested. On a nice day there is no place finer to dine under a tree.....so go when the weather permits. they have indoor seating but the deck/patio is worth it. The food is Bistro style and well done.....prices are fair and if... More

We visited as part of a day trip out. Niagara on the falls is a wonderful, picturesque and quaint place to visit, and we wanted something to eat. There was not a lot of choice. The sandwiches were alright, but nothing special. The coffee was alright.

We've been to the Epicurean several times when visiting NOTL. The decor is nice but nothing special. Food is good and fresh, their mussels in tomato and wine sauce were delicious and done to perfection! The rest is mostly sandwiches which are a bit pricey but that is expected in a tourist area. Staff is always friendly and helpful and... More

We were there on a Sunday in late morning. No other customers. The menu outside looked promising but I wish we had kept walking and found another restaurant. Think Subway. There is a counter that you walk along and tell them what you want and they make the sandwich with meats etc, just like Subway. We both got sandwiches, very... More
