Yummy scone sandwich options, I’m not sure about vegan but definitely vegetarian options. Soups were also available. The sandwiches were not large as the scones were the regular size. With a small soup it was the perfect lunch!

Scones and croissants make me weak in the knees so I'm on always on the lookout for the best whenever I'm on the road. The scones are so tasty here I picked up a dozen to take home with me. Unfortunately was too short of...time to track down the best croissants during my short visit to Ottawa so if anyone knows of a place let me know. I'll make sure to check it out on my next trip back.More

The scones are a five, but the salmon "sconewitch" needed a drizzle of something to enhance the over all flavor. Just a swipe of maybe a lemon mayo. Maybe? Simple place, friendly service. I would go again, but stick with a scone only.

We went here for a late breakfast: coffee (cappuccino in my case; decaf cappuccino for my wife) and scones. My cheddar scone was perfection; my wife loved her sweet scone. The Scone Witch also makes sandwiches, but we didn't stick around for lunch.

I arrived around 12:45 for a late lunch, and had a square-scone with turkey and stilton and a side salad. The salad comes with a tangy dressing; the scone is a 4-sq.in. pastry toasted lightly. I sat and worked on my laptop for the next...2 hours, enjoyed coffee refills, and went on my way a little less hungry and a little more caffeinated.More

The Scone Witch isn't open everyday (closed Mondays and Tuesdays if I remember correctly), but we were able to go on Wednesday. I'm not sure if this place is just reopening after closing for COVID or what the situation is exactly, but they have a...limited menu (most of the menu boards seemed blacked out). There were so many good looking things on websites and on the reviews, but currently you can get coffee and have the choice of two breakfast options. My wife and I each tried one, and neither was very good. We left disappointed.More

Stop by for a scone, but stay for brunch. The breakfast sconewitch is best with mushrooms rather than ham.

We went for breakfast and each had a different breakfast scone/sandwich. We went elsewhere on our last day for breakfast and regret not coming back here for our last breakfast in Ottawa because it's soo good!

It used to be my favorite place for scones, but sadly, the taste is not the same anymore it used to be not even closer to that. Very disappointed and sad at the same time.

Went for breakfast on our last day in Ottawa. The location just off Elgin has in dining so we were able to enjoy our food there. Qe both had the egg witch breakfast and itbwas delicious. Then we tried a sweet scones and those were...very good, especially uf younl purchase a side of jam. This is jam.is not your normal factory produced stuff, but made in Ontario and ate excellent andvwell worth the extra charge. We will definitely go back. On a side note the coffee is weak but is not a deal breaker gor me. Next time I will have a tea.More

I had a cheddar scone with ham and cheese for lunch, while my wife had smoked turkey and stilton on a herb and onion scone. Both were excellent. We bought a dozen, of four different kinds, to take with us to Toronto. The view isn't...much, but the space is bright and the place is clean. This confirms what we learned during previous visits: the Scone Witch is a winner.More

Great freshly baked scones near City Hall - crispy on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside. Coffee available as well. They sell scone sandwiches at lunch.

A great find in Ottawa and well worth a visit. My first visit was late in the day and the only option was Feta, which was delicious. Returned early the next day for a Currant and Ginger with Strawberry Jam and Devon Cream. Gets a...big tick from me!More

Yes. I buy scones to go whenever I can. The caveat is to get there early because they can run out of scones by the end of lunch. They even offer to see frozen scones that you can bake at home.
