Hands down, best scones I've ever had! Today I had the big breakfast of scrambled eggs, fruit, an oatmeal scone, and apricot jam. The ham and cheese scone which is another one of my favourites. To be honest, I don't think it matters what type of scone you order - they're all amazing!

This restaurant is not to be missed. The food is amazing and presented very nicely. The staff is always friendly. I visit as often as I'm in Ottawa. There is a great variety of scones and I always take a half dozen home with me.

Dropped into the Scone Witch for a quick brunch. The seating is fairly limited so there was a short queue. The scones were excellent, but the scrambled eggs were not 'creamy' but the salad with the eggs was fresh. The mustard ham served with the eggs was just a small portion, so the meal was just not satisfying for either... More

Go here for the best scones in all of Canada. I like the cheddar scone and the lemon poppyseed scone. I just tried the lemon curd with the lemon poppyseed scone - SO GOOD! Many great flavours to try. If you are staying downtown, get a few scones for your breakfast. No need to pay for a hotel breakfast. This... More

Every time I visit ottawa I have to stop here. I haven't been able to find a scone or jam anywhere else that I've visited that compares to here. And the ham and eggs are also perfectly cooked. Please go here!

This small restaurant with limited seating specializes in scones with almost any flavour you can imagine and also provides enough additional food options to have a delicious and healthy meal for a family with two 13 year old boys. I had scrambled eggs topped with a mushroom ragu, a cranberry scone and raspberry jam (there were several other options to... More

I'm no expert when it comes to scones, but these are by far the best scones I've ever had. I've tried the plain, vanilla, and blueberry scones. All of which were delicious.

I had read good things about the Scone Witch and wasn't disappointed. My boyfriend and I had breakfast here and really enjoyed it. We both had a herb and onion scone with goats cheese (him) and cream cheese and chutney (me) and both really enjoyed them. They were surprisingly filling too. Nice wee place, very busy!

We had scrambled eggs with lemon poppyseed scone. Tasty and fluffy eggs! The jam and scone really good! My son and I chose tuna tomato salad sandwich: super good! Tasty, not overwhelmed with mayo. Greens salad good! Cappuccinos were delicious too. Size of portions just right, not overwhelmingly big. Friendly, quick service The smell of butter and scones baking is... More

I went here with family for lunch because I heard about its amazing scones, and was not disappointed. I ordered the BLT Pesto 'sconewitch' on a Cheddar scone; the scone was fresh and flaky, the pesto was light and the lettuce was crisp. The sweet scones for dessert are also lovely- my personal favourite was between the Oatmeal or Vanilla... More
