Located at Tanger Outlets, Byward Market or in the Rideau Canal (when applicable), every visit should include a Beavertail. Ottawa's required dessert or snack for visitors to our fair city. Combine with hot chocolate for a great pairing!

Whether someone travels to Ottawa for the first time or have lived there their entire life, eating at Beavertails is something that everyone does or must do. I have lived here for four years and still, I find it difficult to walk past a Beavertail stand and not buy one. By far my favourite is the chocolate and banana, but... More

I can't really review the restaurant itself. I am reviewing the beaver tails. These delicious pastries come in a whole range of flavors. I especially like the beavertail with white sugar sprinkled on the beaver tail.

Love love love Beavertails. It's hard to choose what topping to have. My favourites are garlic and cheese, or Killaloe Sunrise which is cinnamon sugar and lemon juice. We introduced our twin grandchildren to Beavertails this past weekend while enjoying the Rideau Canal . Excellent snack

When in Ottawa, the Market is a must see and Beaver Tails are mandatory tasty treats. They have interesting names. We like Killaloe Sunrise, an interesting combination of sweet and sour, delicious. Even President Obama had to try a treat on a visit to the Market.

No visit to Ottawa is complete without sampling a Beavertail after a brisk skate on the canal. I recommend the Kilaloe Sunrise which is a delicious pastry drenched in a combination of lemon, cinnamon and sugar. Yum!

Typically I do not eat beaver tails but last Christmas I went to my friends Christmas party and this company catered beavertails. It was late in the night when I decided to give it a try and OMG! It was excellent. I would recommend Beavetails to everyone!

I love the Beavertails. My favorite is the Avalanche. Very gooey and delicious. And they have no calories. Lol

If your travels bring you to Ottawa, find a Beaver Tail stand quick....you won't regret it. Cinnamon and Sugar is my fave and probally one of their best sellers.

One simply does not go to Ottawa (especially in the winter) and not enjoy a beavertail. Rivaling shawarma for the most iconic food in Ottawa, it is simply a treat. Think dessert pastry but better.
