A friendly little local in the Glebe. Wide selection of beers on tap and bottled. Food is slightly above average with some creativity evident in the menu. Fries are home made and good. Chili with chips was excellent! Entertainment offered several evenings a week -...More

Atmosphere is great. The server was amazing. I just can't get over how awful their curry was. They must have a chef with some experience so I cant understand why it was so bad. It tasted and looked like it was poured from a can...More

Good selection of local beers - music inside was a bit loud for conversation, so the patio was a great alternative to being inside.

Could not have been better. In the midst of the St. Patrick's day parade on Bank st - was hilarious. The Steak and fries was done to perfection. service a bit slow but understandable. Cost reasonable - friendship and atmosphere = priceless.

Description
Well-known local venue for live music. Irene's has been in business since 1985. Fully accessible with accessible washroom on ground floor, just ask anyone in bar to help by positioning wheelchair ramp at entrance for access. We also have a secret patio out back open during warmer weather, car and bus exhaust free and private. Great food and kitchen open till midnight.
