took shuttle from bar to Senators game. Great value and good fun . worth it as the arena is almost 40 minute drive from town. Try the Fish and Chips

I love coming to this place to watch a hockey game! I've never had the food but it's a great place to grab a beer and watch the game since the atmosphere is very casual and the Senate is full of fans!

In Ottawa for business and The Senate was recommended by hotel for a place to watch the Raptor's game. The ambiance/feel was great; lots of TVs so no seat is a bad seat. Most impressive part for me was there were 2 girls running the entire place. Their teamwork was a thing-a-beauty! We never had to wait for a beverage,... More

I've been there a couple of times for Sens and football games and have always been impressed with the bar. I went there last night for Seinfeld trivia night with some friends and had a blast. I split the tavern platter with a friend and we were very satisfied with the amount of food and the quality. I highly recommend... More

We were in town for March Break and needed to find a place to watch the first round of March Madness to see Butler play. The bartender/waiter was very accommodating changing channels on the TVs so we had a good view from our seats. We ordered four different meals and we devoured them all (bacon cheeseburger with amazing sweet potato... More

Came into town on St Patrick's Day and wanted some pub food. Super loud but fun environment. Quick and helpful service despite the holiday craziness. Food was good, not amazing but average pub food!

This is the best bar in Ottawa. Love the vibes in there and the food is excellent. Staff is always friendly and eager to help you with what ever you need, Deanna is my favourite with her bright smile and witty humour. 10/10 would recommend

Just finishing up a quick bite before taking the Senate's bus to the Sens game ( awesome... $10 gets us to and from the game). Chicken Caesar wrap excellent, and the beef taco is on special for $10, equally as good. Thanks to our server for the recommendations. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town. One negative....where is... More

A group of about 10 of us from work went here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Service was friendly and efficient, atmosphere is a casual, pub feeling. The food was great! It was nicely presented and tasted freshly made. Many in our group had one of the burgers and everyone raved about how good they were. I had the... More

I went there with my mom and her best friend. They were very friendly and super accommodating! We will be making the senate a regular spot! Highly recommend it.
