Fabulous food and fabulous service....the whole package

for me this place was perfect....we started with the calamari...awesome....wife loved her greek salad...I had lamb souvlaki....which to me was perfect just the right amount of char the potatoes rocked and the rice was fine...I got a greek salad as well(if asked I would have...gone soup...but hey)....now on the sort of down side...I like my tzatziki more like a loose yogurt than a heavy gelled yogurt....taste was great i just prefer mine looser.....all in all the young man serving was fabulous and after landing from BC after a long day it was a great relaxed experience....great job allMore

The Greek Souvlaki House

Food is excellent and plentiful. Price is affordable too! Hard a nice birthday dinner with family. Went back again for the yummy fries.

Terrific Greek Restaurant. Delicious food.

Absolutely fabulous dinner. Great tasting food, large portions and excellent service. Enjoyed the entire experience. Highly recommend the beef souvlaki!

Best Greek Take-out in Ottawa

The food prepared and served by the Greek Souvlaki House is excellent - very heathy, fresh, and generous portions. Chicken and lamb are wonderful. Highly recommended.

Ok, so I googled best chicken pita in Ottawa and this place came up. The chicken pita was pretty good but not enough tzatziki and too many tomatoes. I am used to Aragon’s which no one can match. It was all ok but the roasted...potatoes were underwhelming. At first they just tasted like boiled potatoes but after an hour of them cooling the marinade tasted better. Overall, I would give them a 4/10.More

A great lunch or quick dinner - casual and friendly

A quick, casual and well priced stop for lunch or dinner...with a very tasty menu....and served by a family that cares about what you think and that you have a great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend....I love going there.

Highly recommended

If you like Greek food than this is your place. My favorite is the chicken souvlaki skewers with Greek salad. The salad dressing is over the top. This place is a no miss. The owners are in the Restaraunt so the quality never goes down....Highly recommended.More

My favorite Greek Place

I love it here and go regularly with my colleagues. The regular server is a gem...so friendly and just amazing at her job. She has this way of getting things done in a timely manner while still having time have a quick friendly chat with...her clientelle. I always get the greek salad with slices chicken on top; it is perfection on a plate!More

Yummy Take Out

We ordered take out one night while we visited in Ottawa. The chicken souvlaki platter complete with Greek salad was very tasty and generous in portion. Two of us could have shared one order. The pork in the souvlaki platter was a little on the...tough side. We would eat here again.More

A definite improvement from last time

After taking a break from the Greek Souvlaki House, we recently picked up taramasalata and a Greek salad. Both were delicious and back to the quality we had gotten used to at this small eatery. We will definitely return.
