One of my favorite Lebanese restaurants in Ottawa. Great menu choices and great food. Can never go wrong with shwarma or chicken & rice plate.

Whether grabbing a quick wrap or a full plate Cedar Valley is always consistently friggin' fantastic!! Huge portions - when ordering a plate for dinner I always have enough for lunch the next day! Hint: pick up an extra bag of pita... stretches out your plate that much more and you get to enjoy the awesomeness a little bit longer!

We are from Toronto and were in Ottawa for my son's football game. Driving around to try and find the highway back home, we stumbled upon this lovely gem. It is a small restaurant in a strip mall. The place was busy which told me the food must be good. I could also tell this is a family run restaurant.... More

We have a few favourite shawarma places we like to frequent and this is definately one. Their meats are spiced nice, everything is always fresh, including the potatoes (some places they are reheated for you). Their Baklawa is delicious as well! The staff are very nice and very friendly - they hope that you do return!

I'm upset to read any negative feedback on this establishment. I love it. I love the food and the lovely owners. They are willing to accommodate just about any modifications and very friendly every time I've visited them. And let me tell you...I drive from Gatineau , thats about 40mins just to grab my dinner there! Best of all ,... More

Been eating here for years, owners' bad attitudes have always sucked but the food quality and taste still made it worth it...not anymore! Been a few times lately and it's just plain bad food (hardly any sauce, lettuce gone bad, wraps dry, unfriendly staff) this place has gone downhill and I won't be back!

Honestly, the food was actually quite good. But this is hands down the most expensive shawarma joint this city has to offer. Shawarma plate + small shawarma "trio" = $30.00? I ordered a chicken plate. What I got was basically the inside of a small shawarma with a side of potatoes - and by side I mean like, 5 pieces... More

Came here for lunch last week with my family. We ordered a chicken platter for $11.95, 1 special of the day of $8.95 and a medium sharwarma with potatoes. We had 2 canned drinks. It cost me $43.00?? We never get to know what they charge you. My girlfriend orders the same all the time but this ridiculous. The food... More

I eat here very regularly. This is the MOST consistently delicious chicken shawarma sandwich you will find in the east end of Ottawa. Delicious. Get their baklava, it's also very fresh and yummy.

Cedar Valley Restaurant was opened in 2002 as a family business to serve to their neighbours. The combination of delicious healthy food and fast and friendly service has enabled the Nasr family to build an extremely loyal clientel, many of whom have been coming to the restaurant since they first opened the doors. Cedar Valley's recipe for success has resulted in a number of honours. They've received the Orleans People's Choice Buisness Award for Family Business of the Year twice and Restaurant of the Year twice. Besides the traditonal chicken and beef shawarma sandwiches, the menu includes several lamb dishes such as roasted lamb and rice, BBQ lamb chops and lamb-kebabs. The chicken salad is also very popular as is the quail, which is marinated and then grilled over an open flame. Vegetarians in particular have come to appreciate Cedar Valley's Lebanese cuisine thanks to the number and variety of meatless dishes such as Fattouche Salad, Tabouleh, Shanklish, Musakaa and Lentils and Rice. You can also purchase a variety of delectable desserts to end your meal including such favourites as Baklawa, Sablé, and Maamoul which are all homemade. The Baklawa is also available sugar free for people watching their sugar levels. So what are you waiting for? If you haven't had the good fortune of experiencing the wonderful food at Cedar Valley Restaurant, drop by to eat-in, or take it home with you. Cedar Valley can also cater any size event. Just let them know when, where and how many people are planning to attend and let Fadi and Marcelle take care of the rest. Cedar Valley Restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is located in the Orleans Garden Shopping Centre at the corner of Jeanne d'Arc Blvd. and Orléans Blvd. (see map). They're phone number is 613-590-0372.
