Purposely avoiding this restaurant due to their lack of effort in being environmentally conscious. They don't recycle! They give you a plastic container even if you dine in. I ordered the curry chicken which came with rice. The chicken was over done and the rice seemed to be leftover from earlier, not freshly made. The dish consisted mostly of giant white potatoes with a few chicken pieces. However, the curry itself was very...flavorful. If they would reduce the amount of potatoes, cook the chicken a bit less, cook fresh rice for each serving and double the curry sauce then this dish would have been great.More
A few years ago this was my go-to place for lunch. I recently returned to work in the area so had lunch here today for the first time in years. The pad thai and yellow curry chicken were as good as I remembered. The General...Tso chicken was awful. I had TWO hard bits of cartilage in different pieces of chicken that ruined my appetite. The food is good; there is no doubt about that. The place is not as busy as it used to be a few years ago could be because the portions are getting smaller and prices are getting higher. If you’re hungry I would suggest that...you get the 3 items combo. My spring roll had no substance just the wrapper and you have to ask for sauce to dip your spring roll in. I ordered the 2 items combo and got 2 small pieces of chicken and 2 small pieces of potatoes and a side of veggies. This small restaurant has been a good lunch spot for a few years. If you crave some asian food and are in a hurry then this is a good pick. It is a line up and order kind of place much like the asian restaurants...in the food courts within the malls. The quality of the food is better however. The price is good (and no tipping) so its good for a fast inexpensive lunch.More
I go to saffron a lot for lunch as I work close by. Today, I had a piece of raw chicken in my curry. I brought it back to show them and nothing was done about it, the lady at cash just simply said sorry....I'm also 8 months pregnant, so I am quite concerned. I won't be going back for sure.More
I have had lunch here a few times. selection is almost always the same - General Tao chicken, a tofu dish, a pork dish and a couple of veggie dishes, a light Red or Green curry dish. Food is good (not fantastic but solidly good),...portions are reasonable size, A great place for lunch in particular if your in a hurry. It is small inside and it can get very busy at lunch so consider getting there early if you want a seat to eat in.More
Can be crowded, don't plan to eat in. Make sure you know what you want before you step up, things move quickly. Good variety of meaty and veggie dishes. Good prices, nothing wild in terms of taste, but a perfectly fine lunch on the go.

Tasty food, but for $10 you get the choice of two options, which will consist of very little protein. The people behind the counter are strongly advised to ration any meat or tofu, so while it looks like there's a lot, once it's served into...your plate you'll mainly get potatoes or other cheap veggies. This is unfortunate - if they were a little more generous with the food, I'd certainly be a regular. But if you ask for more protein, you'll be scolded that you got your "fair share of 2 bites". I prefer other Thai options in the neighborhood (literally across the street) such as Som Tum, of Coriander Thai (one block down) who both offer take out options if you call in advance.More

Great food, reasonable prices. The flavours of the dishes were great, and the meal was very filling. A new favourite for me.
Got some delivery as it was near our hotel and we were not disappointed. The prices were extremely reasonable and the portions were very generous. They said 45 minutes for delivery but we had our food in under 20. Would definitely recommend!
Great family restaurant with Cantonese, Szechuan and Thai cuisine. Great for weekday lunch combinations plates or large servings of single dishes for takeout on the way home from work. Also has a standard breakfast special. I highly recommend the Cantonese chow mein with extra sauce...and the mild curry chicken and potato. I am told the General Tso chicken is also very good by another regular.More
