We ordered Peking Duck to take out a day ahead and it was ready just a few minutes after the time of pick up. The duck was good value for money, with several dishes, including duck skin and meat and a vegetable and duck dish. All the other trimmings were included as were two containers of soup. There was more than enough for four portions.

Since the pandemic has closed many eating establishments we were pleased to find So Good restaurant in Beechwood Village on Springfield Ave. The restaurant is not exactly nice - rather stark - so we phone in for take out - but the Asian fusion menu is quite varied and service is fast . We found the food excellent and would recommend it. Prices are reasonable.

Despite being understaffed, the service was excellent, our food came out in a timely way and was hot. We began with a lovely pot of jasmine tea on a coldish night. The amount of food was copious so we have lunch for tomorrow and it was very good! We got a variety of bowls ranging from soup, spring rolls and chicken/beef/vegetable options. Ambience doesn't get high marks, but that did not take away from the experience we expected. There were many places online to choose from in this Ottawa location-glad we landed here . Thanks.

So Good in Chinatown is well known but this little off-shoot just opened up near the bottom of Springfield at Beechwood. and it, too, is SO GOOD.
The menu is smaller than the enormous one at the motherhouse but all the favourites are there. the restaurant is simple and clean with several tables but we ordered take out over the phone. It was ready at the promised pick-up time, always a plus.
We got crispy beef, Malaysian rice, wu se chicken, garlic spare ribs. All was delicious with perfectly done vegetables and tasty sauces. The standout was the crispy salt and pepper tofu...they even punched holes in the container so it didn’t get soggy. Such attention to detail is really appreciated. So Good replaces the decidedly MOR Chinese take-out place that had been there for years...a real step up for the neighbourhood.

Not sure what was going on in the kitchen.
Some of the worst Chinese food I've had.
Lemon chicken without sauce and cold. Pork dish ice cold and same with veg and noodle dish.
I'd be willing to bet it is prepared ahead and then just put in the takeaway containers.
I all the dishes which had veg it was just rough cut green and red peppers.
That will without question be my last time
going there.

I have been a fan of the So good in China Town for years. Owners have changed, but I remain a fan, so when So good opened in my neighborhood, I was thrilled. I must mention that I can only eat gluten free foods and I have never been sick.

We having been coming here regularly for almost 10 years. Phenomenal service, kindest staff, and the best food. Great vegan options. We love the Wu Se Vegetable and the Pepper Salt Tofu.

All sauces very watery and no flavor, chicken soggy, beef tough, too many green peppers and not ehough protein. But again protein not "so good".
Would definetely not recommend.
Will not be returning.

Having travelled across town to get their takeout it is great to have them next door. We have tried many of their dishes my favourites are crispy beef (the best in town), black bean chicken with mixed veggies and noodles; and curried Thai style pork. Their dishes are generous and delicious. The egg rolls are yummy.

Same great tastey food. The menu is large consiting of many Chinese regional cooking methods. Always remember they will customize any dish including spice levels. We've been loyal since it's original opening but the updated furniture & plating have added to our overall enjoyable dining experience.

The food is very, very good. Large plates with each order. We were four and each had a plate--so much food we all had enough for our lunch--yum. The service and price will bring you back as well.
