I work nearby and I often have the chance to have lunch in this Vietnamese-Chinese restrautant. Lunch is usually busy and be prepared to come a bit earlier (say before or around noon) or after 1pm. One can choose indoor seating or a small patio just outside of the entrance (facing parking). There are more than 100 choices available from... More

Vietnamese food in middle of Canada is not something that resonates congruently, but at least the option is there. We came for lunch during a weekday with work colleagues in the area. With a native present, the staff may have put in a little bit of extra care in preparing the food. The pho was average; it was filling for... More

Ordered a #148 General Tsao Chicken. The chicken was more coating than chicken but at least it was cooked. The vegetables in the dish were completely raw, and the sauce was severely lacking. I used to get lunch here very often a few years ago as I worked in the area and it used to be fantastic, I will never... More

I have had food from Phu-Yen before but the quality has gone down. I had to throw away my Almond Chicken Soo Guy. It was dry, and the chicken was hard. Half the chicken balls were hard as well. We ordered the garlic sauce and even it was watery. The only food that was half decent were the egg rolls.... More

There is a very broad menu here covering Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese. All of their food is excellent and very fresh with lots of vegetables. Is small inside with friendly service, and is great for takeout.

A nice place for lunch on work days, the service is quick and friendly, the food I had was very tasty. There is not much room, though. The portions are large, and not expensive.

Excellent for takeout. The food is very good, with a wide range of cuisine, from Chinese, to Vietnamese to Thai. Prices are very reasonable, and the meals are ready for a fast pickup.

This is my go-to place for vietnamese food when I am in Ottawa. In the office the Pho-crew just needs to say 27 and we all know where we go and what we order: Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. The place is pretty busy at lunch so it pays to come in just a tad before the lunch crowd comes. The... More

I have eaten at Phu-Yen several times over the last few years and have always had a positive experience. The food is good and the service is fast, which is great when eating out for lunch. The amount of food for the price is also reasonable. I will return for more pho!
