We ended up at the Westview Tavern fir lunch as the Stone House was closed and the tables at the Dog & Goat too crowded. The waitress at the Westview was so happy and pleasant to everyone - even when it got busy nothing phased...her, she remained cheerful. It was clean. The food was well presented, good portions and value for money. We will definitely return.More
Atmosphere seems like it could be a good time. Patio in the back so no view. Other than getting a canned drink everything was wrong. Beer pouring, bartender, and food prep.
Went to the island for a day trip. We chose this location so our family of nine could sit inside to cool off as it was an extremely hot day. We knew there were not many places to eat on the island and we embraced...the chance to have a meal as we wouldn’t arrive to the mainland until late. This ended up being the only restaurant on the island when we visited. It had a very good menu. Salads, finger foods, to full meals. Our waitress was extra friendly and helpful. Patio our back is where we ate and it was nice to sit...outside. Also has sit down inside. Would recommend......More
We were there at an off time around 5pm. Right across the street from the ferry docks. Patio at the front and picnic tables at the back. We sat at the front for the lake view. I had chicken wrap and my wife had shrimp,...good portion. Food and service goodMore

Great sunset views from the front deck. Perch dinner was delicious. Be patient with servers prior to ferry leaving as the restaurant is slammed and everyone wants to eat and pay their bills at the exact same time to catch the ferry.
Came for lunch as a group of 5. It was pretty busy. I ordered the perch sandwich. Everyone at my table received their food but me. I was told it would just be a few more minutes which wasn't true. My food came over 15...minutes after the rest of my table received their food and had already eaten. As a result I had to take my food to go. When I complained I was told to "take it up as a review". So rude. No discount offered or anything. As someone who used to be a server I understand the kitchen can get jammed but lying about the wait time and then having one person not get their food for that long was unacceptable. Also waiting over 45 minutes total for a sandwich is ridiculous.More
I visited the island last summer and my experience was horrible.The food was OK, I wouldn't complain too much about it. The service could have been better, waitress was slow with or orders. Also one thing i could not understand, the waitress there actually had...the nerve to tip herself not once but on 2 separate occasions I was appalled at the fact that I don't even get a choice in tipping or not. I don't know about you but where i come from we call that stealing.More
we were late coming off the ferry and did not realize we needed to stop and eat before going ot our accomodation. the host contacted the Tavern and preorder our meals jsut before closing - thank goodness! the food was hot and refresh. the burgers...were juicy and tasy with all the expected condiments. the fries were crispy and hot. the beer was cold and hit the right spot. the server was quick and friendly despite trying to close up for the night. we did not feel rushed however. Overall a great introduction to the friendly atmospher of almost everyone on the island.More

Once again we went for Friday Night all you can eat perch Dinner. Again the meal was excellent. You start each with 6 perch, fries, and salad bar. All this for $22.95 per person. Fish is lightly battered and very tasteful. Mr friends love to...go here any time they are on the Island.More
Food and atmosphere are great. Friendly, helpful staff and it's right off the dock. Several items marked for quick order to keep on track if heading to the ferry.
