Stopped here right off the ferry in Leamington as we were both starving and needed something more substantial to eat than fast food. Nice spot, outdoor seating only from what I could tell and reasonably priced. The Texas style brisket, egg and cheese croissant sandwich...was delicious as was the slice of Mediteranean pizza I had. We picked up three little loaves of banana bread and devoured two in short order. Cash or debit but cash is best, the terminal wouldn't work when we tried to pay for our delicious goodies.More

They offer a great selection of desserts and quick take-out snacks. The aroma inside is wonderful. The service is fast and friendly.

We stopped here on our drive around the northside of the island. Wish we came earlier as there would have been more to choose from, but what we did have was heaven. This lady knows how to BAKE!!!!!. Great food...

We go several times on each visit to the Island. Always satisfying! The big labowski is my favorite, along with the breakfast sandwiches. Looking forward to visiting again May 2021.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch during our bike tour of the northern half of the island. We split the beef croissant and a couple of butter tarts. Sandwich was excellent and very well priced. Tarts were fantastic. Great spot for lunch and...COVID line moves quickly. Order inside and they bring food to your picnic table outside. We also picked up a Pure Pelee T-shirt souvenir for $20. Very happy customers.More

I know covid is a difficult time, but counter girl could be more friendly as she is snappy and seems to hate her job. Next time try manners.

Great food, lovely grounds but felt sorry for girl behind counter who had way too much to do. Not only was she behind the counter but also came outside to deliver the food.

This is a great place to stop and within walking distance of the Scudders Marina. They have the Best Sunflower seed Bread and tarts, all hand made. They also sell pizza which you can eat on the picnic tables with your own wine. Everything here...is good. Call ahead for the bread as sometimes they are sold out!More

Islands are funny places. They lack many amenities, but Pelee Island has The Bakery. It is a gem among beach stones. Great baked goods and good coffee.

Everything we had here was delicious. We overheard other customers stating the same. Many coming back again and again and enjoying everything they tried. Don't be fooled by its size - it has everything you could want to eat and the homemade iced tea is...the best ever.More

When on Pelee Island I always visit The Bakery for lunch. They have a variety of fresh sandwiches that are made to order; soups are interesting and delicious. The tarts, brownies and sweets are great. Sit under the shade trees and enjoy the views of...the fields, the school house and one of the churches. Lots of locals go here for breakfast too. It's a relaxing, friendly place.More
