We were passing through this city after a long days drive. This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend who grew up in the Sue and knows the ppl who own & work there. The ambiance was very nice however our waiter was NOT! We...tried to make conversation with him several times by asking him if he knew our friend who recommended the place, we asked about the wine glasses they used & even asked what kind of coffee they used for there espresso. Every time he made us feel so uncomfortable, had no interest in engaging with us. As for our meal, the Caesar salad was a disappointment and lacked that Caesar punch of taste you usually expect. However our main course in this case was the fish & It was exceptional! Sad to say the employee had a huge effect. It’s unfortunate that someone’s lack of personality could have that big of an effect on the way a customer feels and ends up thinking about the place. Let’s not mention the cost of it, not cheep! We attended 2 events here: a rehearsal dinner and then a small (50) person wedding. It was great. The food was superb, with obvious pride in preparation of the many dishes we had. After a few hours of mountain biking, I decided to reward myself with a good seafood pasta meal and a nice glass of wine. The ambience, service, wine, and of course the meal provided by Arturo's was certainly worth it.
A small piece of Italy, a perfect sample of italian cuisine. My family and I have spent an amazing time! We'll be back every time we'll have the opportunity!!!🙏
My friend and I came here while she was visiting from out of town. Well they definitely did not disappoint. Our meals were excellent and we received our food in great time. The ambiance was perfect for couples, first dates, or old friends catching up....The waitress seemed a tad overwhelmed, however she was doing her best and it went without noticing.More
Travelling through Sault Ste Marie, and ordered take out at the recommendation of family from Manitoba. The Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I had the lobster ravioli and my partner had the Papperdelle Arturo. Both pasta dishes were rich and...exploding with flavour. The egg noodles were hands down the best either of us had ever tasted. Staff were very pleasant both on the phone and in person. I will definitely eat here again if we find ourselves in the Soo.More
Stopped in Sault Ste Marie and tried Arturo's on advise from friends. The restaurant is quaint and atmosphere is warm. The servers and amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The food was served and presented in style. The flavor is indescribable. Certainly best in northern...Ontario. We had rack of lamb that was cooked with perfection and tasted of European Gourmet flavor. My wife had home made style ravioli stuffed with lobster presented in mouth watering rose sauce that cause you to savour ever bite. Our starter was Escargot in a unique white wine sauce that reminded us of German Snekensoup but with a tinge of lemon to tantalize the taste buds... We couldn't think of anything we would like better then a repeat performance.. So we went back the following night for a second serving of culinary delights! Sea food special of seared snapper bathed in a touch of heavenly white cream. With a switch of the side to awesomely created gnocchi from an Italian kitchen straight from Tuscany! Six of us from Toronto and Ottawa visited the place for dinner. Everyone ordered different food from the menu. Without any exception all what we asked were served at the best way possible. Being to Arturo’s Ristorante many times and have never been disappointed. Tom,Chris and staff are very accommodating. This Restaurant is definitely number one.
I have not had one bad experience or meal here. Absolutely the best care is put into every dish. The owners and staff exceed the "above and beyond" motto of customer service.

This is one of the best restaurants in the Sault. We go for special occasions or if we want a nice dinner out. Their specials are usually our favourite. 5+ stars.
I have been to Arturo’s many times with customers and always had a good meal. I tried to book online for this past Monday and despite the site saying it was open I was emailed to tell me they were not. That’s ok. Mix up...and no big deal but when I asked for a recommendation for somewhere similar to take my customers to (I am not from the area and don’t know the higher end restaurants in town) I was told he couldn’t do that for me; basically that none were appropriate. Seriously? Good customer service would have been to suggest a place you respect and help me out because that would make me want to come back to Arturo’s next time. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t be back regardless of how good the food is.More
The atmosphere was relaxing. The waitress was so helpful and accommodating. The food was varied and exceptional.
